In order to lead anything, China needs to clean up their air and India needs to provide clean water to the 65 million people who live without it. Otherwise they'll both continue to be thought of as third world countries... multicultural or not.
As the United States seems to have something of a "Head Start" on the concept of multicultural integration...I would say it would be the future. Parts of Europe are playing catch up in this....but not doing as well with it so far.
This contrived, planned, multiculturalism is time bomb, that will divided societies, and implode them. It is the height of human ignorance, a pipe dream of a dreamer with an incoherent brain, no matter how many letters he can place after his name. For the 800 pound ape sitting in the corner is a human nature that was given to man by evolution. It doesn't just operate on the conscious level, but at the unconscious level. You can mix it different cultures, sure, but it has to be done by assimilating them into a predominant culture. And if another culture is averse to assimilation, you simply do not allow those cultures in. For if you do not consciously assimilate, you end up with various tribes, division, within a nation, and that has never worked out. Why? Human nature which we are slaves to. A divided nation sooner or later becomes chaotic. It's them against us, mentality. This multiculturalism is just a lovely idea, which human nature will not allow. We need a change in our age old consciousness in order to pull this off. For otherwise, you are demanding that there be no jealousy in a marriage, which is human nature. Human nature drives us, we are slaves to it. One can think of a marriage where jealousness doesn't exist, but hell, you can imagine anything. It is human nature to be jealous, to not want your wife copulating with another man, and its human nature to be tribal. To propagate tribalism by subjecting oneself to multiculturalism is insanity, and an illustration of how lovely thinking can create insolvable problems for a nation.
As long as the caste system exists in Indian, it will never become a fully unified nation. There is also a big divide with the people of Kashmir and he remainder of India that does not help. One has to remember just how huge India is and how many cultural entities exist there. Fortunately, it is far more open than China that is currently faced with a push by Muslims in its western areas.
I like the Injuns, since they kick IslamoTerror butt. We should give the Injuns weapons to wipe out the terrorists in Kashmir and Pakistan. China is a clear and present danger -- we should arm all their enemies.
