Maher's an infotainer who would be wearing a fracking Nazi costume if it gave him more air time.

I may be mistaken but believe you said you are not in or were raised in America. As a legitimate outsider your interpretation of "proper liberal" would therefore be far different from ours. We never join the two words. Ever.

If a woman does not wish to be a mother she can give birth and let the baby be adopted. Nobody dies. It's a lot easier to live with afterward.

You have now opened a side-issue door here briefly worth exploring.

Why should non-religious or anyone else for that matter FORCE the religious to fund that which they find abhorrent? Their right to choose (to not participate) is violated by taxing them to murder other people's children.

It removes a taxpayer-paid option. It does not forbid abortion.

So you want to force women, who don’t want a child, to have to go through an entire pregnancy. Clearly you’re a male.

So you believe only non-religious people have abortions?

Many abortion patients reported a religious affiliation—24% were Catholic, 17% were mainline Protestant, 13% were evangelical Protestant and 8% identified with some other religion. Thirty-eight percent of patients had no religious affiliation.

The Hollywood scene has turned vicious with many white workers let go and PC now running at Daytona 500 speeds. One current example I saw just today is here:

    https://www.takimag.com/article/rise-of-the-crypto-caucasians/

...But yes, it's all directed one way. Leftist media prevents any social contamination, smirking and joking about this conservative loony or that conservative menace. Any cursory exam of their posts here would convince most objective viewers...these are not very happy people. When are they NOT complaining, wanting someone else to pay for what they want?

Since I've never heard of this institute, I'll just say I believe any woman who destroys a viable human life will have to answer to Someone a whole lot more powerful than me.

Nowhere outside of the black market, but that's not taking away their right. If they were to somehow get an abortion outside of the system and they were criminally charged for it, THAT is taking away their right.

They threatened violence though didn't they? Saying "white lives matter" was only PART of their actions, so they weren't arrested for their speech under some sort of speech code. Why don't you agree with the message? Or do you just not agree in the way that it was used in this case?

No, the left has effectively killed free speech.

The left controls our institutions (Gramsci was right), and they believe in and enforce all things PC and speech codes.

Can't offend the fragile, bubble wrapped millennials and younger.

Young Americans are indoctrinated and weak, and their leaders are vicious authoritarians.

America is on very dangerous ground.

It's a 'rite of passage' for some.

In terms of the First Amendment, or culturally in society?

Total nonsense. Right now women have a legal right to get an abortion. If abortions are banned then that right is taken away.

Trump denied federal insurance and DID NOT ban abortion. Arguments are veering off-target here and as of this date abortions are not illegal.

I didn’t bring up the banning argument, Chris did.

Revisiting this: I am extremely sincere that "choice" means "choice," not "kill the kid and be done with it."
Aw, you peeked at my avatar. Rocket science!

Spin it any way you like. You don’t have a right to make the choice for others.
And no, I didn’t peek at your avatar

I am saying self-restraint would prevent a large number of these cases, to begin with. Nature by the usual statistical odds will produce healthy children in MOST cases if the child is allowed to mature. There is no reason to abort most children, except in the callous name of convenience. This is not grounds for terminating an innocent human life.

I am also saying that this entire issue of Roe v Wade legality should be revisited. The Supreme Court preempted states' rights to decide on their own whether to permit abortion. This must be no different than any other issue of magnitude. To deny the public THEIR right to speak on this issue is, in my opinion, the single worst USSC decision since Dredd Scott.

Right...you want to dictate what women should do regarding THEIR pregnancy. Why do you believe you have a right to dictate what others should do?
