So? And Obamacare was supposed to reduce health costs for EVERYONE!! Obama said it, knowing it was a lie. And Biden approved!! Biden also claimed Trump is responsible for all Covid deaths in the country which makes him delusional and insane. He also said Trump was a racist for stopping travel from the source location of this virus origins!!! He also chose a person as VP that called him a racist. He also implied that you’re not black if you vote Republican.

So it’s kind of hard to trust anything coming out of his mouth. I’ll assume it’s all BS and just watch his actions.

And you still don’t understand how insurance works. Tax payers would be subsidizing Illegals if they’re allowed into the system at all. We would be paying for their healthcare. It’s the first step to amnesty and it’s all insane and anti American.

Yes. We pay for their healthcare because we don’t jail then deport them the second they step foot in an ER or their children apply to school. They’re allowed to give out fake information and stolen SS#s and walk out without paying. I know all too well. It’s a travesty. We could solve our illegal problem within a year if we really wanted to.

 

You actually believe Repubs care about doing something regarding illegals. That’s cute. Neither side actually cares about doing anything substantial in getting rid of illegals. Both sides just like to use it as a wedge issue. The only thing that will get rid of illegals is to get rid of the jobs. But that will never happen. So they will continue to come here. We can keep tracking them down all we like and more will come. Get rid of the jobs and there will be no reason for them to come here.

 

Most undocumented people have jobs, pay sales taxes, pay property taxes, pay excise taxes, and many are paying FICA taxes...and all of them are consumers. Relative to economic stimulus goals, it makes absolute sense to give these people the same $1200 as everyone else...

Right. So those handing out this 'stimulus' money are going to personally police each recipient to ensure they spend the money, and then doubly ensure they spend it in the US, on US products and services? They're going to somehow prevent the recipients saving that money, or 'sending it home'?

And do you think that all foreign Govts should send you money on the proviso you buy stuff from their country? Or maybe every tourist should get a thousand bucks spending money upon entering a new country?

It sounds like there are a lot of people that don't understand what the stimulus is for.

 

And her relatives back home are even hungrier. You need to spend some time around migrants from poor countries, to understand how it works. Suggesting that they'll spend the money in the US, is like suggesting a family breadwinner will spend earnings on Italian shoes instead of food.

Why stop there? Why not just send a thousand dollars to everyone in the world, and hope they spend it in the US?

You don't get it. The person who is earning the money is obliged to feed the family back home FIRST. These are not stupid people, Ron. They know that the money earner is in a cushy welfare state, and has ample safety nets for food etc. The family back home have none of those advantages, so they are always the priority.

 

They can't pay property taxes because they can't legally own property. They can't pay tax via jobs because they can't legally work. Etc etc.

Meantime, if you're all for the funding of random foreign nationals, why aren't you asking foreign Govts for money for yourself? After all, you say it makes 'absolute sense'! Here's an idea .. make applications for free money from a bunch of different countries, and see how you get on.
