Cracks me up. He said no such things, in fact what his platform stands for is somewhat identical to what sanders stands for. Including simplifying the tax system and taking away loopholes that only the million and billionaires get. Those that like Sandersshould vote for Trump not Clinton. And it was joke when m. Obama talked about raising children and being a role model. Seems to me Trump has more children raised them well and all are successful. Clinton had one likely raised by nannies. At the very least he has obviously done a good job raising his children, instilling values like hard work. I see no difference between them on this subject. And as far as e.warren, a hateful and bitter communist, in my opinion. Never liked her since she entered the Senate. As a trump supporter I I could have lived with a president Sanders. Never Clinton

I don't think Trump is as self-assured as you make him out to be. I think he realizes that he is inexperienced and will need lots of advice. The GOP is going to keep a close eye on him, and they will reign him in if necessary. If anyone will rule with an iron fist, it is Hillary.

I hope you are correct about Trump if he gets elected. I have my doubts. He hasn't paid any attention whatsoever to the advice of other Republicans so far, and you know the saying about old dogs and new tricks. He has repeatedly stated that he will personally change treaties, laws, etc., which no president has the power to do. A dictator does those things.

As to Hillary, I cannot understand why you think she would rule with an iron fist unless you're just parroting the right-wing stereotypes of her. Ruling with an iron fist would be quite out of character for her. It would not be for Trump.

So far the closest thing we have to a dictator is Obama and his abhorrence to follow the rule of law. Hillary is considered Obama 2.0 and the dems have clearly stated the are not the 'law and order' party during the convention.

I know, facts are not important to Obama sycophants. Information is been in the news is out on the Internet but if you're too lazy to look it up it is not my problem.

Yes, he does, and it is VERY GOOD!! The current so-called American form of democracy is a global laughing-stock. Trump is constantly, and correctly condemning US democracy as corrupt.
    He is 100% correct.

You talk about changing or passing treaties, and laws: I do not remember ever being asked by the Clintons if I approved of NAFTA. It was passed without going through any democratic process. If it is dictatorial for Trump to say he will change the trade agreements and treaties, then it must be dictatorial when they are passed without input from the public. Speaking of not listening to advice, or playing by the rules, she, by herself, determined she could and would flaunt the rules and communicate sensitive information through an unsecured personal server. She is a stubborn, egotistical, narcissist, elitist who has no intention of following protocols if she gets into the white house.

As far as parroting others: It is interesting that you accuse a woman who obviously doesn't like Hillary of parroting the right wing, basically accusing me of not having a mind of my own. No one from the right told me to think about NAFTA, and the decimation of the working class, every time I look at Hillary and Bill. She will pass TPP, and consequently will pave the way for international corporations to sue the US government if they are not allowed to ransack our country in the pursuit of profits. No right winger told me to think of the environment every time I look at Hillary and Bill.

obama has done a good job going around Congress. The next President no matter who it is will do what Obama has done and more. The separation of powers is a memory.

Donald says he'll get things done. He does not say he's going to act dictatorially.

However, I thought the passing of 0bama Care was anti-democratic..

I can understand your bitterness as you believe a lot of things that didn't happen. Let's get the facts straight.

NAFTA was negotiated during the Bush Sr. administration and signed by George Bush himself. It was a done deal when Clinton took office, although the Senate did ratify it during his administration and Clinton did approve of Bush's work. Whether we approve of NAFTA or not, Bush's treaty was ratified democratically by the Senate and not by Clinton. You are mistaken in blaming Clinton for George H. W. Bush's treaty. His only official role in the treaty was in performing his presidential duty in submitting the treaty to the Senate.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_American_Free_Trade_Agreement

The decimation of the working class was reversed during the Clinton administration and then resumed during the Bush Jr. administration. The Clinton administration was one of the few periods when the working class prospered. Wages and the standard of living went up There were help-wanted signs all over the place, and it was the only time in modern history when the US government ran a budget surplus. Then everything went to hell under George W. Bush.

You are laying the sins of the two Bush administrations at the feet of the Clintons. If it's not because you have fallen victim to the right-wing narrative, why do you have such a distorted view of history? If you are capable of thinking for yourself, why not check the facts instead of repeating the story promulgated by the people who cannot read well? If I can check facts, you can, too.

I think he did and he is right regarding Obama being the closest thing we have seen to a dictator because of his refusal to follow the rule of law and constitution when it comes to "passing laws". It is apparent he knows how to work around Constitutional law. Did you know he gave up his license to practice law as did his wife when he became a member of the Illinois congress? There is no clear reason why they did so.

His use of executive privilege is evidence, his use of under handed means of passing Obama care is evidence. Look it up yourself lazy. And you give proof to discredit the posts or you go away. It is typical for progressives to disagree but give information that backs up their comments

Barack Obama has indeed made use of executive action, but he has deferred to the Supreme Court on those occasions when it said he went too far. I don't understand how following the rule of law and obeying the Court is unconstitutional. The Supreme Court decides what is constitutional and not the right-wing blogosphere. When I wrote the OP, I knew that I would confront revisionist history. So many people have little regard for the facts.

Obama care was democratically passed by Congress. I did look all of this up. Now it is your turn to look something up and issue an apology.

As to his giving up his license to practice law (assuming he did), I know nothing about it and don't see the relevance to this thread.

No but here I'll be more direct do you not support Obama?

Obama doesn't talk to anyone but he has come around this last year and is signing Republican legislation at a rate not seen in many years.

wait, so you consider me, asking you for proof to back up your claims, is insulting? come out of your safe space dude!

P.S. I notice you still offered no proof to backup your claims, all I want, is for you, to provide us with ONE court decision, that Trump has failed to follow our of the thousands of legal cases he's been involved in personally and commercially... just ONE... if your claims have any weight, you should be able to find dozens easy... but you can't... and now because I challenged you, and you can't prove your claims, you're ignoring me because you made something up and got caught? maybe just don't lie next time...

Trump and the Republican party have followed the will of the people.

Hillary and the Democrats have been waging a pre ordained campaign, with the help of a corrupt media and it's somehow Trump that threatens our Democratic form of Government?

LOL...ask a Sanders supporter how they feel about the Democratic process.

ROFL you dont "defer" to the SCOTUS even when you are the President. He was SUED by various parties, he fought the cases in the SCOTUA and the SCOTUA slapped him down.

And by the way thread is fundamentally fallacious. We do not have a democratice form of government.
