You claimed that Europe had less freedom. Now you're saying it's about the same, because in both cases you gain some and lose some. You see what you've done?

I still maintain that currently there is less freedom overall, but I acknowledge that we are heading there. You would not agree that it is "less" freedom, perhaps, because you do not require economic choice. That's why this is about our opinions and desires.

And, although you chose to ignore my post and the factual information I offered, I am telling you you're full of S. it!
You are showing Luxemburg as one of the most indebted countries. . .when actually, their outside debt is INFERIOR to what other countries OWE THEM!

You need to face the truth, work on providing FULL disclosure information, or shut up!

You are absolutely wrong on all counts!

What I also wanted to poit out, is, that freedom is a relative term which greatly depends on personal views. I don't see my economical freedom endangered, because I chose to live in Europe. I can see how you feel different, though.

Nice! I love art, and have lived in Parly II (near Versaille) for 4 years.

Still. . .what does that have to do with economics and politics?

Except, of course, that French people pay higher taxes than we do, but are fairly happy to do so to keep their 300 old bridges from falling down and to keep their amazing art "patrimoine" (heritage belonging to a whole group rather than individuals) in good shape and ALIVE.

France and French people KNOW how to live! And it is not about living in oversized homes and driving oversized cars, but about enjoying the best of what is old (art, heritage, old stones, beauty and vacations) and what is new (new infrastructure, good safety net, and supporting the NEXT generation!).

But it has little to do with museum pamphlets!

Now. . . that is what I call delusions!

    You are so mistaking!

Europeans are VERY interested in Politics and just about everything else! They are a lively, energetic people who are not held down by ridiculous dogmas or attachment to "the past."

Europeans make the average American look like a 6th grader in most areas.
Including. . .but not limited to. . .education!

Hey mate, I understand you're American, but here in France we don't use as many acronyms as you do. I've never heard anyone say drc before. Maybe it's called drc in your balance sheet, but we French usually call it Romanée Conti as it is a beautiful name in itself. Try it next time and I will know what you are on about.

you shouldn't talk about things you know so little about

i've seen/heard aubert de villaine say it many times

Le domaine de la Romanée-Conti (DRC) est aujourd'hui le seul exploitant du prestigieux cru de la Romanée-Conti.

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, often abbreviated to DRC, is an estate in Burgundy, France that produces white and red wine. It is widely considered among the world's greatest wine producers, and DRC bottles are among the world's most expensive. It takes its name from the domaine's most famous vineyard, Romanée-Conti.

au contraire, i'm not at all disappointed, it was quite enjoyable showing you how wrong you were

Mate, don't be an arse. I am not in the wine business. And I doubt many of us are, here. So if you want answers to your questions, ask them in a way we can understand. Although I don't recall drinking some Romanée Conti, I have heard of it. Okay?

And please, see the French wiki page, and notice that they don't mention any abbreviation for it. Okay?

it proves youve been on holiday to europe and that makes you think you know something about it, you dont, youve been some places, you know the names of these places and know your way about them a little, you have no comprehension of europe above that of a tourist, and it also proves you are displaying the typical american arrogance and ignorance that everyone hates you for

as for the eu you cant tell me anything about it, I live under it and have studied it, wee bit different to having visited paris a couple of times no
