Have Republicans after been willing to get rid of anybody in their party for these kind of scandals? I can't recall any sexual offenders ever being abandoned by them. I'm was surprised Gaetz didn't receive a hell storm but it looks like they ignore that stuff or just rationalize it in their heads.
They use the “innocent until proven guilty” even with evidence for Republicans and the “guilty” for Democrats even if no evidence is present.
So the charge is that she was "close" to someone who turned out to be a depraved perv. Is there a shred of evidence that she knew anything about his vile behavior? Is this really the McCarthyism we want?

I'm not sure that's the whole deal here. I had a strong sense of deja vu when I read the linked article and saw her photo. I haven't been able to pull up the connection but I'm pretty sure it's a bit deeper than that. However, I agree that is how it appears if using that article as the only source of information. I've been trying to recall where I've seen and heard about her but old age is creeping in. I'll post again if it comes to me.
Yeah all I know about her is from the article, so if there is something more to it then I'll reconsider. But I'd imagine many of us have associated with individuals who turned out to be creepsters. Gotta be more to it than that for me.
