Those are what the Rainbow flag flies over, it is the Rainbow celebration. It is what it stands for. That is the objection from what I have read about it. And cities do not allow such behaviors at Spring Break and in fact city after city are getting rid of Spring Breaks and they only place you see such at Mardi Gras is in the French Quarter of New Orleans and that is primarily the very same people and Rainbow groups. I come from the city that founder Mardi Gras, ride in parades and play in parades, that's not allowed here or the many other cities who hold Mardi Gras celebrations.

 

He didn't refuse to do his job. He was never asked to drive that bus. His reason for being fired is he publicly (Twitter and other places) said he wouldn't have driven the bus if asked to do so.
