Yet the Chinese, polish, Italians immigrated to this country decades after the circumstances you speak of, and somehow managed to become land owners.

Victimization is the #1 hurdle of blacks.

These "researchers" are mentally ill self hating white people. A Master Degree in public policy my arse.

If real commies took over the US at least these fake commies professors could be re-educated Mao style, i.e., be sent out into the country to perform hard manual farm labor. My Grandparents on my mother's side were poor farmers. Their white experience was performing hard farm labor during daylight hours, 365 days a year.

Only in the mind of the liberal academic is a foot shortage manifested by mass obesity.

have always loved farmer's markets ... can be expensive but the fruit and veggies actually have flavor unlike the GMO crap you get in chain grocery stores ... thanks Monsanto! ...

saw plenty of black folks selling their food when I was in Miami ... here in Arizona, many Mexicans and Natives selling produce and prepared food ... we always buy nixtamal tortillas which are made from non GMO corn that has been soaked in limestone before being ground ... Sonoran taco heaven ...

    1) I won't argue about any potential mental illness, but they're really not self-hating. Quite the opposite, in fact. This kind of stuff is all vanity. Telling yourself you 'have the power' (as in, all the power), and that's it's all about you.

    2) It would do them the WORLD of good.

The fact that they do that is not just hilarious though (and it IS hilarious) - it's also horribly offensive to those who are actually starving.

Sure thing. And where I live it's Asians selling at those markets (when it's not ultra-white foods like sourdough bread and freaking truffle infused blue cheese). It's the customers who almost exclusively white.

I thought about point #1 and I guess they are not self hating. Rather they want to indoctrinate their white students to internalize white guilt to the point where it becomes self-hatred.

Being victimized is. Black farmers have had to fight tooth and nail to keep their lands for farming and most have given up. They've gone from over 14% of the number of US farmers to under 1% mostly due to the banks and the USDA refusing to treat them equally by providing equal services and protections.

Also, do tell, give me the names of a few Chinese, Polish and Italian farmers. Sure they exist but are probably still outnumbered by Black farmers.

Aren't you an African? Who was forced off of their farms in South Africa partially through genocide?

And then when the once fertile land was reverted to the natives famine set in.

Nope, American of German/Irish descent. And you are very, very misinformed of South African history.

    Oh really? do tell...
Are you going to deny that South African white farmers were forced off of their land, many of them murdered.

The ones who decided to stay felt that they were very lightly armed if they were only traveling with a pistol and a so-called assault rifle.

As you obviously don't come from a farming family, you are probably unaware of the trends in farming. The number of farms has dropped to 2 million in 2020. Family farms will probably not exist in another generation. The system has moved on from family farms to corporate farms with latino/asian slave labor workers. My uncle runs a Nebraska farm with 2000 irrigated acres with his grandson. He inherited that farm from my grandad. For a black family to buy that farm would require a 10 million dollar loan for the land alone (never mind the million+ dollars of equipment and buildings). Would you write the check for a loan like that absent a serious down payment?

Here is a little more about the cost of entry from the experts. They came up with a number of 5+ million dollars. White family farmers are going away for this reason. These kind of numbers affect people of all races. Corporation farms are the present and the future, family farms are the past. We have reverted back to European feudalism..... where the people working the land do not own land and earn subsistence level wages. More and more land is moving into the hands of the 1%, and that trend is accelerating. Not sure why you would make this a race issue other than to cover for the OBVIOUS class issue that it is.

The point is that due to unfair banking and buyers black farmers have diminished from 14 percent to less than 1 over the last 80 years of the 20th century. I was responding to a poster who believes black farmers were and are nonexistent. Clearly a false premise. And yes, I did in fact grow up on an Illinois farm but do not farm myself although ironically the local university here in the DR Congo wants me to set up their demo farm in anticipation of them adding an ag program in about 18 months. I may not have farmed for 40 years I'm still their best shot at this.

So in another words, NOT A DAMN THING to say about the emerging caste system in America. Worst wealth inequality in American history and here you are prattling the mantra fed to you by the 0.01%. All that prattling does is empower those with damn near everything to take more. Bill Gates is the largest "farmer" in human history. Weird thing is that he does no farming at all. He lets the serfs do that. Keep fighting for that "equity" in farming and the billionaires will continue buying up property at rates never experienced in American history. It is totally not a terrifying prospect to have billionaires that control our politicians, MSM, Silicon Valley, immigration policy now take control over our food supply. Liberals don't even pretend to give a damn about the working and middle classes anymore.

Even then, it's still all vanity. It's just them rolling around in their imagined white supremacy and power. It's just a new way to enjoy that power.

Do Duke U "researchers" have any response to this? "STILL THE PARTY OF SLAVERY": House Democrats Won’t Schedule Vote on Bill to Sanction Chinese Slave Labor.
And they sit in judgment on others?
Not 160 years ago. Right now. Today.
No another damn word from them about anyone else's "fragility" "priviledge" or "racism".

The rise of the second-string Left, how these brain-dead idiots became the voice of the Left:
    Dumb, wrong, uninteresting and unimaginative
It was none of the three.
    Abusive
    Absent Fathers
The Smart ones can see the coming failure and have left.
And that's how we end with such idiotic universities making asinine claims like the OP.
