Scientists in Denmark have discovered a vaccine to combat the most widespread "hive killer" called "American Foulbrood" a bacterial disease. The concept is the queen is fed the vaccine pathogen over a period of a week or so and the pathogens are passed onto the eggs. The pathogens induce "responses for future immune responses". Positive news for threatened bees and their keepers everywhere. https://www.foxnews.com/science/sci...-vaccine-to-protect-them-from-deadly-diseases
This is the first time we have been able to immunize insects, which is kinda cool considering they dont' have immune systems.
