Yes, another of the 269 teachers in k-12 schools arrested in just the first three quarters of this year held some of them under his desk for up to 20 minutes while thrusting his hips.

I am absolutely going to keep up a drumbeat of this because this monster got away with it for 20 years while other teachers and administrators denied it was happening.
What is it going to take to get teachers checked before being hired?
So what will justify this?

 

I saw an interview with a detective once and he said people who are interested in little kids get jobs or engage in activities that allow them to be around little kids.

 

Seems like a "2+2=4" kind of thing, disgusting as it actually is. Vetting this stuff isn't easy, but the real issue is that the attempt isn't really being made. Look at their priors, etc. Ask people about people, you know it's the thing called a resume! The public government is letting citizens down, as usual. Why even have public jobs when private ones do better vetting.

Like the good detective said, people attracted to little kids work or get involved in activities that bring them around little kids. Disney seems to attract more than their share, too.

 

And maybe Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts or the YMCA.

Whenever you have demented adult individuals in a controlling position over children you run these risks.

More though vetting is essential.

And there it is-- in a thread about something which NO ONE condones, and everyone condemns; something that did not begin with the Biden Administration, but has long gone on; which occurs in every part of the country, in Red areas, as well as in Blue ones-- and by teachers who come from, both Red & Blue States-- nonetheless, who is it, that tries to make this into a partisan issue?

 

I think we should bar men from teaching. 90% of the time when there is an issue like this or something worse it is a male perpetrator.

 

I disagree, with the church it was tens of thousands of victims across the world with a very active core group of church leadership that not only sought to hide but actively moved these individuals allowing them to harm multiples more. All while being funded by the very same people that believe their represent their god.

This case, while sickening, doesn’t even remotely come close.

BTW, I'd think that the teaching profession would be more conscious of its reputation and ban moron male teachers who thrust themselves on girls.

 

At this point I would think lefties here would be claiming institutional child abuse, demanding body cams on every teacher, creating a “Children’s Bodies Matters” Movement, and marching in the streets to demand defunding teachers as a viable strategy for reform.
