Elizabeth Warren releases DNA test with 'strong evidence' of Native American ancestry

As far as it being proven...the tribe disagrees. She is off the reservation and clearly lied about the stuff of her family having to elope because she was Cherkee. She lies.

Warren might be as little as this much Native American: 0.0009765625 (tenth generation)
Which would make her this much not Native American: 99.9990234375

Wait a minute. Anyone who knows anything at all about how this DNA thing works knows that that is utterly meaningless. A ginger haired Scotsman can show African DNA, yet he is clearly not African, much less black. These distant, tiny percentages are known as 'trace' material, and are not even certainties then. Worse still, double blind tests reveal that many of these DNA outfits actually fudge the numbers, to satisfy customer demand for exotica, and to give the impression that no one is 100% white (though of course it's just ticketty-boo to be 100% not white). And the most demanded DNA in the world? Native American. Go figure.

Until this woman submits the EXACT percentages (if it's anything less than 10%, it's not worth discussing in the first place), where they derive from - and more importantly, WHEN - and then has it all confirmed via repeated matched results across a variety of independent tests, it would be insanity to believe her claims. She's a wannnabe, which is embarrassing in an old lady.

This is extremely embarrassing from most people’s point of view. Between 1/64th and 1/1024th? That is just silly to try and claim.

But if so, does this mean we can finally get rid of identity politics? Is “intersectionality” a myth as most of us thought?

On my 23&me, I was 1% North African and 2% middle eastern, can I claim those ethnicities as well to gain minority recognition?

Look up indian termination policy. For a tribe to be federally recognized they have to have at least one living member that is full blooded, but the program does not recognize full-blood of a person with parents from different clans of the same tribe. However, Indians are not allowed by cultural norms to marry within their own clan. Therefore, all registered Indians are half-bloods.

We should all be proud of and love all of our forefathers/mothers, no matter who they were and as far back as one my look.
