Most of our crime is gang and drug culture too but its vastly less lethal because we have sensible gun lergislation

 

And the absence of yours fails to capture the greatly more lethal alternatives. But hey whatever makes you happy

I dont know anyone who lives in fear of being shot. Over 300 million people and only 10k get shot most of them criminals who deserved it.

I have livestock and a gun comes in handy sometimes. Most people I know have guns because they like guns.

 

No, I'm much less likely to be shot than you. I carry a handgun (legally) and know how to use it. So in the event someone attempts to tries to use theirs on me, I'm fairly confident I can get the drop on them. It's no guarantee, if they have a gun, and I have a gun, I could lose. But most criminals don't train like I do.

 

Then you are simply wrong. Statistically your own firearm makes you and yours seven times more likely to be shot in the home using that very weapon (either by accident or intent) than by any armed intruder.

 

So you are actually proud of your lethal crime rates made possible by easy access to firearms. Just how sick in the head does someone have to get to think like that ?
