Well, once again, you like another poster in this thread are leaning on the interpretations given by another human who has been able to excite the emotional with the intellectual and combine them in such a way as to provide to you the warm fuzzy feelings that your ego requires for acceptance as being real or closer to real than what you have experienced before. INTERPRETATION of data... purely subjective.

There is none; And that is my whole point. Everything we (mankind) experiences is experienced subjectively. There is no other method or means of cognition or re-cognition available.

Did you know that the world's outstanding scientists are working diligently to recreate our own big bang in miniature? Probably not! Some people believe the collider could create a black hole and engulf the earth. The scientists have assured us that it will not happen. Can't you just imagine that trillions of years ago in another universe scientists were working diligently to create their own big bang and VOILA!! All of a sudden the big bang. Accepting it as a form of entertainment allows for a limited enjoyment of it's fascinating use of fractured knowledge as well the amazing ability to ignore anything that is counter to that which it spews by sidelining all discussion and debate into arbitrary and pointless topics that carry no baring on the initial topic.

The typical shift usually involves a request for an absolute truth, which must be that which it has decided upon in its own mind and is unavailable outside it. You will then be asked to equate this unobtainable "truth" to something hidden behind the new goal post which is firmly planted on the field down the street.

I suppose you mean like virgin birth, that the earth is 6000 years old? That a chosen few will meet their ghost pal floating on a cloud then fly off to the promised land on gossamer wings. enter pearly gates and live behind walls in a restricted compound for all eternity floating around singing hymns of praise while those who disagree with their myths burn in hell. What about a flood that covered the earth to a depth of five miles and evaporated within a year, that big fish puked up live men, that seas separated for the good guys and drowned the bad guys who were chasing them, and walls fell at the sound of a trumpet, that a human was turned into a pillar of salt in her tracks, that men lived through a 1200 degree furnace, that the earth stood still, that the ten commandments were presented to one man by god in the form of a burning bush, etc. Also virgin birth, walking on water, feeding five thousand plus women and children who also ate with two fish and five loaves then gathering 12 baskets of leftovers, turning water into fine wine, healing by touching, raising from the dead, etc......

Any individual who accepts the Christian bible as truth really needs to get a new grip.....that one is about over.

This is the kind of bullschit folks don't want to argue about because it's more ridiculous than accepting Humpty Dumpty and Cinderella as factual.
