No, I will call almost anyone what they ask to be called, because I'm polite. But I will not be compelled by a government, or any derivatives thereof, or any entity pressured by, or acting on behalf of such, to utter certain speech (unless under time and place restrictions, such as a courtroom where controlling speech is necessary for the law to function). And I won't take being corrected in a derogatory fashion when I use the same pronoun that an archeologist 10,000 years from now will use when referring to their bones.

There is NO fine line when it comes to government compelled speech. Remember, a public school teacher is a government agent. They cannot compel anyone to utter anything.

 

I'm not aware the government is dictating a teacher what to say.
I am aware that some state governments are dictating what a teacher may not tell.

The EU can only recommand that members Bblock Twitter. It would be impossible to do it centrally.
