TMZ broke many of the details of Jussie's story just hours after the attack ... the rope, the bleach, the statement by the attackers, "This is MAGA country" and also that his 2 attackers were white.

Democratic presidential contender Kamala Harris ripped the brutal attack on “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett in Chicago, where cops said the assault was possibly a hate crime.

“@JussieSmollett is one of the kindest, most gentle human beings I know. I’m praying for his quick recovery,” the California senator wrote on Twitter.

“This was an attempted modern day lynching. No one should have to fear for their life because of their sexuality or color of their skin. We must confront this hate.”

Well the reasoning is easy. They were counting on racist democrats to believe him with no evidence and they got a lot of them. Including in this thread.

This story's conclusion is the outcome of the left's racism and constant race baiting. If this had been your typical mugging nothing would have happened, the cops would have blown it off, and it never would have made national headlines. Instead, the left played their race and hate cards in an attempt to smear Trump, his supporters, and white people in general. By doing that, this became a yuge story and the cops were forced to dig into it because black victimization by whites is, in the left's mind, the worst possible offense one can commit. On top of that, the left ran with this because they so desperately wanted to see a black man victimized by a white person and the bonus for them was MAGA, this would be absolute proof that blacks will always be the victims and whites will always be guilty of it. Man did this blow up in their faces.

One thing came out of all this and it's that black victimization was more important to the left than gay victimization.

 

And if Smollett filed a false police report, then he should be prosecuted.

I predict that he'll get off lightly because somebody somewhere will determine that throwing the book at him will scare 'real' victims of hate crimes from reporting them.
