    This is a measure of how far you believe moral values and/or political rights stretch.

    Universalism vs. Sectarianism

    Universalism: Principles are universal, all humans have the same rights, it is a goal of the nation to protect and extend universal rights to all

    Sectarianism: Even basic principles cannot be expected to be followed outside of the group (nation, religious sect, ethnic group, cultural identity), human rights only matter within the confines of the group, the nation is under no obligation to extend rights or to protect the rights of those outside the group-- even if it is possible and affordable.

    Choose one of the above.
    If you fall in between, go with a "soft" version of your choice.
    If you need a tie-breaker, consider the question:
    Do you believe it is the duty of those with liberty and security to liberate and protect those without it?
