/facepalm/... No, it is a belief, phrased in pseudo scientific terms to give the illusion of fact. It is not a 'proven theory!', or 'settled science!', as you (and hordes of others) seem to believe. It is based on fallacies, ad hominem, ridicule and self righteous indignation. Scientific methodology? ..not so much. If there ever was a theory that relied more on censorship, bullying, eye rolling, bluff, and distortions, i cannot think of one that has more than universal common descent. It is obviously not true, anyway, as many people do not believe in the ToE, in spite of decades of indoctrination from the educational system, public television, & other institutions intent on promoting this ideology. Ah.. so you believe that to 'think scientifically', one must believe in global warming, have liberal politics, and accept universal common descent as the only explanation for origins... How does putting aside skepticism make one 'scientifically minded?' It becomes more evident all the time, that Progressivism is just another religion, indoctrinated into the citizens, with conformity of belief as the goal, not enlightened awareness.
