Family Research Council Launches the Center for Biblical Worldview

(CNSNews.com) - On Wednesday, the Family Research Council (FRC) in Washington, D.C., announced the launch of its new ministry initiative to equip Christians with the tools to defend and live out their faith in the public square: the Center for Biblical Worldview.

“The Center for Biblical Worldview is designed to give Christians a firm foundation so that they can engage the culture by being rooted in God's Word,” Family Research Council President Tony Perkins said in the announcement of the Center for Biblical Worldview (CBW).
The Family Research Council is “dedicated to articulating and advancing a family-centered philosophy of public life. In addition to providing policy research and analysis for the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of the federal government, FRC seeks to inform the news media, the academic community, business leaders, and the general public about family issues that affect the nation from a biblical worldview,” according to its website.

In these trying times, it’s important to make sure that the Biblical world view is presented to all. The pandemic and blue city and blue state responses to it have been repressive and damaging to the church and to the expression of its message. On so many issues, there is a Biblical viewpoint that needs to be expressed to our judiciary, our legislatures, and the executive branch of states and the federal government.

What does that have to do with the fact that evangelicals support Donald Trump committing adultery by being divorced and remarrying when his former spouse is not dead.

 

It's true. Trump gets a pass because God works in mysterious ways or something. Not exactly sure the mental gymnastics that someone concerned with morality, decency, and ethics must go through to support a man like Trump. It's got to be tiring.

 

Easy. It was Trump vs. Hillary and then Trump vs. Biden.

 

But if you're someone to whom morality, decency, and ethics are important, those virtues should lead you to support neither of those people, right?

At the very least, it should lead you to call those people out on their behavior.

But for many, it's a case of those things only being important when your opponent doesn't have them, but not when the people you support don't.

 

Some people vote practically. Some do vote for third parties.
