Fed Just Revealed Plans for Digital Dollar Replacement I can't think of anything the government does that works well so it's hard to imagine it being seamless. I also don't like the idea of everything neatly collected in one place for anyone to hack. No, I'm not doing weird transactions. It just seems a bit Big Brother-ish to me. What do you think?
Revelation 13 KJV 16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number [is] Six hundred threescore [and] six.
No one will be able to buy or sell without the mark of the beast(some sort of digital identification process like a barcode from which there is no privacy or escape as far as buying/selling goes)
I am a fairly progressive and liberal person politically. However I believe that the Federal Reserve and IRS should be abolished and that our monetary system should be returned to the US Congress as per the Constitution. The idea of a cashless society is abhorrent to me. I also am not a Bible Thumper by any means however I consider this “mark of the beast” quotation to be very a very accurate prediction as it pertains to letting some entity have complete control over our day to day dealings. To me as a long time poker player, I liken such tactics to playing in a game where your opponent knows all the cards in your hand. In my opinion, the IRS, The Federal Reserve, The War On Drugs and all of the legislation created to empower them are tools meant to create total control over the entire population. Bad news in my book. We should, through our elected officials be moving in the direction of abolishing and disempowering these institutions.
The US dollar is already mostly a digital currency. What's the purpose of creating another one? I'm not following the logic or necessity of this.
