Well the federal judges seem more and more to be noticing the hypocritical obstruction Biden and the Garland DOJ are engaged and one is saying enough is enough. Perhaps the Reps can accelerate the pace if they get the testimonies and records they are seeking or confirm as with alledged loans they never existed.

Federal judge accuses the DOJ of hypocrisy for ‘flouting’ Biden impeachment inquiry subpoenas

A federal judge scolded the Justice Department on Friday for refusing to allow attorneys involved in the Hunter Biden investigation to comply with subpoenas issued by House Republicans.

The House Judiciary Committee filed a lawsuit last month in the federal District Court in Washington seeking to force DOJ lawyers Mark Daly and Jack Morgan to provide testimony as part of the panel’s impeachment inquiry into President Biden.

The GOP-led panel co-leading the impeachment probe related to the 81-year-old president’s alleged involvement in his family’s business dealings claims the DOJ has “thwarted” efforts by the committee to get depositions from the DOJ Tax Division officials.

District Judge Ana Reyes, an appointee of President Biden, argued that the Justice Department was being hypocritical for instructing Daly and Morgan not to comply with the committee’s subpoenas while throwing others in prison for similar actions.

“There’s a person in jail right now because you all brought a criminal lawsuit against him because he did not appear for a House subpoena,” Reyes said during a hearing on the Judiciary Committee’s lawsuit, according to Politico. ......[/Quote]

The weaponizing of tne DOJ needs to end Garlamd needs to go and Biden appoint some one in conjunction with Congress from outside and absolutely no connection to him or anti-Trump groups or bias. Mayne even clean house and start a new hnvestigation altogether. That's the only way faith can be restored at the DOJ.

We all saw Garland's double standards in action when he refused to go after the protesters who intimidated Supreme Court justices. But speak up at a school board meeting and he's all over it like Biden on a 12 year old.

Not matter what you think of Mitch McTurtle (no relationship), his machinations to keep Merrick Garland off the Supreme Court was a great move.

You forgot this part of what she said:

Yet another example of how the Constitution sets up these power stand-offs.

Garland was particularly odious due to his hard on over the Heller decision when it (DC Circuit) went the way of freedom

true, Garland had better qualifications. Kagan had ZERO judicial experience. Sotomayor had a good academic record but was seen as flaky on the bench and she has proven she's a legal lightweight on the court. Kagan was put on to help solidify the lesbian vote. Sotomayor the Latina vote. BTW that's why the dems prevented eminently qualified Miguel Estrada from being on the CoA-they didn't want him being elevated to Supreme Court as the first latino

oh it was well known in DC and Harvard she's a lesbian. a guy who became the US Attorney in one of the offices I tried cases out of-an Obama appointee-was a top graduate at HLS when Kagan was there. He said it was common knowledge at HLS that she was a lesbian. the two lesbians in my main office said the same thing-one was very conservative-from KY-and she noted that she wished "the first lesbian appointed" would have been more conservative.

I fail to see how an allegedly (her friends deny it) closeted lesbian would help dems with the lesbian vote….nor is there any reason for a liberal dem who doesn’t have to face the voters, to deny being gay unless she isn’t

Garland is right. The subpoena have no legislative basis to require demanding DOJ officials to testify.

The "weaponizing" of the House committee system needs to end. Gomer and his gomerettes, including Jordan, need to go. Republican leadership needs to end the
cycle of using House committees to attack their political opposition. Republicans need to stop attacking the DOJ just because they are prosecuting the Orange Stain. These prosecutions need to be completed and go to a jury in order to restore faith in our judicial system.

LMAO. Never happen. You see, any of these people that the Orange Stain tries to persecute will have access to the process the Stain is using to delay, delay, delay.
At worst, assuming the Stain wins, they will just delay until he is out of office.

It's also quite telling that you are rooting for a con man and don't want him to pay for his crimes. But you do want those who are upholding justice to go to jail.
    Not exactly the American Way.
