They don't want Warren. She's almost as anti-establishment as Sanders. They're pushing Biden and using Bloomberg as backup. If the IDP wants to cheat, we'll see a Biden landslide.

They gotta say something. Tomorrow is the SotU so they need to get the soundbites ready before they get overshadowed.

Bernie is making his victory speech right now. Still no votes tallied? They all cheated so far except Yang.

I agree, but Biden is as stale as last summer’s loaf of bread. They have no good options.

Brilliant strategy to declare victory before winning. Trump will love it.

And the campaigns have officially given up getting results from the IDP. Looks like we'll be finding something out tomorrow... Maybe.

    AGREED.

    This is a TRAVESTY.

And, of course, with this delay in results you are already seeing "why are they sitting on the results" Conspiracy Theories.

Shades of Mayor Daley and Illinois 1960.

They have lots of options. Sanders can pull bigger crowds, play the same populist game and doesn't have the same scandals haunting him. Warren is a bit less popular but otherwise has the same dynamic. Yang is offering everyone free money (without bankrupting the country) which is always a winning argument and as a libertarian has lots of Repub support. Biden and Blumberg are DoA however.

That's the end of the Iowa caucus system, if not the Democratic Party in Iowa. So sad...I am watching a lot of good people who worked long and hard hours let down.
Not exactly a stellar start for the Democratic Presidential Campaigns.
    Amazing...they self-destructed.

Trump easily wins Iowa Republican caucuses

President Trump easily defeated his primary rivals in Monday’s Iowa Republican caucuses, in the first indication that those attempting to take on the president inside his own party stand a slim chance of making headway against the incumbent.

Iowa results showed the president winning with roughly 97 percent of the vote over former Massachusetts Gov. Bill Weld and former Illinois congressman Joe Walsh. The primary challengers walked away with about 1 percent each.

8 other state caucus too. I doubt Iowa will scrape their system but the DNC might not let them go first next time.

If there is a DNC. Well...all of the candidates delivered their respective victory speeches tonight...onto New Hampshire.

Bernie extorted the DNC to make them change the rules. It was a disaster in Iowa. Imagine if he was ever to run the country.

Hmmm...Parties are driven from the top down. It may be that they tried to come up with a new system to supposedly make it all look more transparent and give the "grunts" (the people who knock on doors and make the calls) more power, without actually doing any of it. The result? The worst of both worlds?
Hmmm...Maddow trying to make the point that...well...once the results finally come out, we'll know they're accurate. Wrong. Just the opposite. Their credibility has been destroyed.
