First president to be elected to a second term in a crap economy.

The guy is just setting all sorts of firsts, ain't he?

And doncha just know what Americans think of the Republican Party when the first black president is also the first Kenyan, Marxist, America-hating, Muslim president who likes watermelon.

The momentum is on Romney's side and a new Ohio poll shows that the race is tied in the crucial swing state that will determine the outcome and Romney could pull off a surprise victory on November 6 and Obama has to defy gravity to get re-elected in a bad economy.

The race for the White House continues to be too close to call in Ohio, according to a new Enquirer/Ohio News Organization Poll that shows President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney each with 49 percent support from likely voters. That’s a slip for the president, who took 51 percent of likely voters in the newspaper group’s September poll. Romney’s support grew among males, among high school and college graduates and among respondents in every age category except 18 to 29.

We heard all that a week before the last presidential. Romney's been hyping this 'momentum' stuff but it just doesn't exist.

Well if Obama wins it means our nation no longer cares about morals and values and prefers to be more like Europe.

American Exceptionalism will officially be dead and we will have decided to become a welfare state where no one is allowed to fail and any mistake people make will be forgiven.

Success no longer matters, competiton is irrelevant and mediocrity is expected. We will have decided that people no longer should fend for themselves, the government will now look after you from cradle to grave and all that is expected of you is to coast through your life knowing you'll always be taken care of.

Nothing bad will be allowed to happen to you. The Zombification of America will be the chosen path.

Its not an overreaction, I'm not saying that people are going to be rioting in the streets. What I'm alluding to is that the election of Obama will be an indicator of a shift in the American mindset from traditional American values to a more European way of thinking where entitlements are demanded by society.

It will show that people expect their government to provide for them, and thus trade off part of their freedom, in order to receive it. The more you let government take care of you the more say they have in your life. An Obama election would signify that the majority of America agrees with that and its far different than how this country use to be. You may consider that bad or good but its definitely a change in perception about the role of government.

People see what Obama and the democrats are offering and they will either accept or reject it and each decision is very telling about the direction of the country.

If he gets re-elected the new motto will be, "He inherited a mess from the last president." Bwahahahahaha!

Well, we ain't exceptional. Most of our ancestors left Europe because they were totally unexceptional (couldn't support themselves, couldn't find potatos) so, for no other reason than DNA, we are unexceptional. And nobody cares about anybody's morals or values other than their own. Europe understands that. We're in denial.

Ironically I think Europe is way more concerned about moral values, appearances and legitimacy than the US. Not to say that's necessarily a good thing, I abhor their stance on freedom of speech, but I really don't think Obama is going to turn the US into France.

Like so many of your colleagues, you don't think. You need to take time and listen to all sides. I'm sure your full of compassion for your fellow man and you feel their pain. So let us take from those who have and give it to those who don't. So what happens when there is no-more to take from the haves? Then everybody will be poorer. You will have a nation of people who have no incentive to work. Those who have the entreprenural spirt will leave and find a country that believes in freedom and capitalism and the right to the pursuit of happiness. Whole companies will move overseas than be burdened with ornerous regulations and taxes.

Truthfully, those who want to be like Europe or any other country should pack up and go. Leave America to those who like to work and believe that one is rewarded on his merits and not on some collective merits.

That would be a really good campaigning strategy for Romney say if we vote Obama we'll turn into France, I can guarantee that would get a few votes look at the noise some people made because our Olympic outfits were made by a French designer. Although he would have to hide that he lived there and can speak French for it to work...
