Ok. Carry on. Your position on this is confusing, though.

I know Fl is full of old folks.
Do the people of Fl actually want to wreck kids and families if the kids are not straight?

Is it just the old folks?
Or is it those who like to kiss the 2x impeached butt to score brownie points in their party?

Fl residents are electing those types. So I wonder if they truly are that cruel to kids and minorities.

It is fruitless if not in one's own State. Or being done at the federal level.
People elect their own representatives so the people of those States must believe what the legislatures are doing is good.

This bill really empowers homophobic teachers. They can just later say, "Well, I didn't know it would be dangerous at home." So, if you are a gay teen in a radical Christian Trump county, you are truly ****ed.

There are some teachers, however, that wouldn't out a kid. They can just lie and say, "I had no idea."

We have been more progressive on issues of humanity, relations, and sexuality. But it takes generations to change minds.
There's a large group of people that think heterosexuals have to be the only option whether for religious or political purposes.

Most of those live in a binary type world. Even though there are millions of shades of gray.

Florida was purple for quite some time. Now, though, damn. We have to consider moving. I can't support this hatred of everything not white, straight & Christian.

Maybe you can fight it from within.
Those who don't live in Fl can't do anything about it.

    But voters can.

I have been under the impression for a while now, that most under the age of 40 don't care what sex orientation anyone is.
So, as I asked before, is it the old generation that moves there? Those the age of the 2x impeached doing this?

The sad part is that I live in one of the Gay Meccas. Ft. Lauderdale has an enormous gay population. Those kids will probably be fine. There are likely not many homophobic teachers, and even if there were, parents would likely say, "So what? Mind your own business."

Its red meat for the pseudo-conservative / populist base.

There are over 6 million people in Miami/Ft Lauderdale/West Palm metro, so there are lots of evangelicals too.

The party of the 2X is all about culture wars.
    That's the party platform.

They can't win on policy and I don't think they actually have a policy.
I remember for 8 yrs about repeal and replace ACA, they got total power and wiffed and now they love the ACA.

You think? I'm thinking Miami has all the Catholics and Palm Beach has all the Jews.

Yes. I live here too. Its true there are more Catholics in Miami, but they are Christian too, and some can have very fundamentalist mindset, + many Latinos are anti gay for cultural reasons too.

Ok. In my area, it's very accepting. I live about a mile from the Wilton Manors border. One of the restaurants we go to proudly announces it's straight friendly. I'm often the only woman in there.

Krane, that contradicts what this bill impacts. This bill makes reporting mandatory within a time limit of 6 weeks.

I'm not sure about this one.

The idea of school officials keeping sexual secrets between students and away from parents gives me a real creepy vibe.

At the same time if my school found out about my sexual orientation when I was there and they told my parents I would have been mortified.

So I'm a bit on the fence on this one.

If it's dangerous for kids to live with their parents isn't that a bigger deal?

And the fact that many people will not admit: a large number of blacks are absolutely vicious homophobes.

Sure. Some people are absolutely terrified of people thinking they might be gay. Its a macho insecurity thing.

Considering the resolve from the left to push this ****, I feel it would be more likely that the school would coach the kid into using that exemption even if unfounded as a means to keep this ****/indoctrination under wraps. We already have avenues for an abused child to seek/obtain help.

This is more about insuring that the parents are aware of what's going on. As they should be.

Sorry left. No loop holes for you.
