Sad that the trump admin continues to lie about it. Why do you think that is?

Durham has a criminal investigation open right now and the people who went after Trump and after Flynn and others, are on that list. :)

    Says me? Says the DOJ!

“The interviewing agents repeatedly sought to prompt the defendant to provide a truthful response,” wrote U.S. Attorney Jessie Liu, who detailed the interaction in the filing.

“Such conduct demonstrates that the agents were not in search of a crime, but the truth about what had happened and why — which the defendant failed to provide,” she wrote. “Had they wanted to ‘trap’ the defendant into a false statement charge, they would not have prompted him repeatedly to correct his statements.”

    And the 302s?

The DOJ also dismissed concerns about alleged discrepancies between drafts of the interview notes, calling the changes "largely grammatical and stylistic."

“The interviewing agents’ handwritten notes, interview report, drafts of the interview report, and statements are consistent and clear that the defendant made multiple false statements to the agents about his communications with the Russian Ambassador on January 24, 2017,” Liu wrote.

Prosecutors threatened to go after his kids if he didn’t plead guilty.

    This happens in the U.S.?

He pleaded guilty to crimes that our law says carry prison time as a penalty.

I don't know why you like this guy so much that you're ready to ignore his criminality.

Do you really think it's OK for America to have high government officials taking money for using their position to benefit foreign countries?

Do you have ANY limits concerning who may buy our officials?

It's this an example of government for sale - the root issue with DC being a swamp? Only this time it's American actions being bought by other countries, not even just America?

So it was “Obama’s” FBI when he was in office, but not Trumps when he is in office ?

    Good lord Bucky......

Flynn lied. Theirs no way around that. He lied, got caught, knew they had the evidence to convict him, so he plead.

How the hell is ANY of this on Obama ?

    LOL!!!

I'll bet you are referring to the fact that his criminal son was going to be indicted, too.

And, with his confession and plea deal he could get his son off the hook.

Indicting criminals is not a threat - it's justice.

Even when republicans admit their crimes, righties will blame someone else. No republican is ever guilty

No, not at all. He was trapped into it. That is why they had to alter evidence and his 302. They had to invent a crime on Flynn.

Sad to see Democrats go after innocent people and their supporters just cheer them on.

I suspect the DOJ told him that now Mueller no longer holds investigatory power his son is no longer in danger of being destroyed. Hence Flynn is now free to actually defend himself before the law. New game. Perhaps when it's all said and done the people who threatened his son will themselves go to prison.

I take it you want equal penalties for Brennan, Comey, and Clapper, all of whom lied to Congress, and McCabe who lied to the FBI, the same as Flynn is accused of. More Swamp selective enforcement.

I don’t personally care what happens to any of them. If they broke the law, charge them. Although I think clapper (or was it Brennan) was asked under oath to reveal a classified program. So he was left with 2 options, and both were illegal.

Are you just pretending I can’t keep posting this? Where the trump DOJ either lies to a judge or shows FLYNN is a liar.

He did it. It wasn't a crime. So he's not guilty.

Suppose you were put on trial for opposing Trump (no, I'm not advocating that happen- its just an example of a similar situation).

    How would you plead?
