Since 1987, there is one thing I've wanted to do. And that's drive bus. Oh I know the eggheads would think "that's it? What about 'expanding your horizons through college?'" Well, a two year attempt at that resulted in failure. But that's OK, I'm not college material. I digress. I got my regular operator's license in 1998 and my Class A CDL the next year. After 14 years' combined commercial driving, I went to work at a small electrical contractor as a warehouse worker in 2015 after a accident forced my previous employer to terminate my employment. I voluntarily downgraded my license back to a non-CDL Class D license. Just about two years later due to a mutual understanding, I left the contractor and decided to begin this. My goal is to become a motorcoach operator with one of the finest companies in the country and the best IMO in New York State. And that is Trailways of New York. They want me to build up a year's worth of school bus experience for now so I drive for First Student serving the Buffalo Public Schools. Next year after the school year ends, I hope to be in Rochester training as a Trailways driver.
