It depends on what your phisical condition is presently. If your already fighting cancer or are a senior, that tiredness can be problematic since it as an impact on your health.

 

You do realize that there is a mutation model for viruses, right? Meaning that viruses burn out. they mutate to become more transmissible, but their effect on the hosts declines, because viruses need hosts to continue to survive, so if they're out there killing off their hosts, they die out.

Fauci is not "crowing the end is neigh", even though I am sure Fox News is telling you that he is. Fauci is asking for caution while waiting for the actual data. In a new variant, the most socially active, younger people will get it first, so it could be that's the reason why initial cases have been reported to be milder. We'll know in a few weeks.

Of course, the hope still is that the virus will eventually adapt to the human host, reducing its fatality rate. This is predicted, because, unlike Ebola, the SarsCov2 virus does not benefit from killing the host. How long it will take for this adaptation, nobody knows. If the omicron variant would be a first sign of this adaptation, it would be great news. Myself, however, I am going to wait for the actual data before celebrating initial anecdotes of mild disease outcome.

Actually that isn't how it work. It is now known that the Spanish flu, for exemple, was in the first wave less contagious and not deadly. It's once it mutated, in a second wave' that it picked up both contagiousness and deadliness.

 

If anything the Omicron would try it's best to keep it's host alive, and as for the Seniors getting tired, well the HELL YOU SAY LMFAO!!

Yes I do, but you don't seeem to be able to understand that how our body reacts to its mutation and how it evolves is unrelated. This is why we went from a virus that affected the seniors mostly to one who now send people in their 40's in good health to the ICU. And it's those ICU we're trying to protect because they're in limited numbers. I could care less if you don't want to vaccinate yourself or mask up, but if this means that somebody who had a traffic accident or a work related accident can't have a bed in ICU then you're part of the problem.

 

You are making some good points, but the point of this thread is that Faux and others are intentionally lying about the existence of this variant (any variants) even being a thing... That's a much bigger problem to the overall health of this country than the severity or non-severity of any single variant, until proven....
