    Pre-debate note from Johnson:
    September 22, 2011

Tonight is the big GOP Presidential debate, and I couldn’t be more excited. It begins at 9 PM ET and will air on Fox News.

Please make sure to tune in – and encourage your friends to watch, too!

I arrived in Florida last night after a great trip to New Hampshire. There’s a full account of my last few days – with plenty of pictures – on the "Truth for a Change" campaign blog.

There’s nothing more exciting to me than a blood-boiling debate, and I’m truly humbled for this opportunity to serve as your representative on stage.

Tonight is a great opportunity for us to have our voices heard, and to introduce our powerful ideas to many, many new people.

I’ve been told that there will also be a live debate chat event for those who are online. Here’s the link: http://www.rlc.org/2011/09/21/join-...t-event-during-thursdays-presidential-debate/

Thank you for the outpouring of financial support you have shown me this week. My staff has told me about the influx of donations we have received, and I couldn’t be more excited.

If you haven’t contributed yet, please consider doing so today. I am deeply grateful to each and every one of the donors to my campaign, no matter how large or small: https://donate.GaryJohnson2012.com.

    Live Free!

    Gary

Let's hope someone asks him a question this time!

My question to Ron Paul.." if you do not win the nomination will you support the winner and actively help influence the Republican platform and victory ? "

    Yes or No ?

    • To each candidate: explain if, and how, you would repeal Obamacare.
    • By a show of hands, who would make auditing the Fed a priority for their Adm?
    • By a show of hands, who would make rolling back the PATRIOT Act a priority for their Adm?
    • To each candidate: how would your Adm address calls for Shariah compliance in America?

My question? I'd ask Perry what he would do about border security if he became president.

Gotta love Google. One of the few businesses which should have existed during the Dot Com boom.

I think the interactive thing is, well, a natural in this day and age.

I hated the town hall twist CNN did with their debate -- an odd thing for me to say but with 8 candidates and camera shuffles, it just plain wasted too much air time that should have been q&a.
Townhall lends itself better to one-on-one debates, and I highly support them.

If I understand what FNC-Google is doing, the people were allowed to "ask" their questions, but the panel will be doing the speaking/controlling the time. We'll see how it goes.

As always, I'm looking for fair distribution of questions/time for all the candidates.
I guess that comes with being a longtime Ind.

I'm about to head over and find where one "reacts" as candidates respond, my opinion is as valid as the next. LOL.

Romney has already been given extra time and they haven't made it through round 1 questions...now Huntsman too.

Excellent question by Wallace to Cain re: his 9/9/9 tax plan. I have no problem with it per se .... IF it is attached to a super-majority to alter those numbers!

Folks do like him, lots of cheers.

Shyte -- extra time every time someone else mentions your name and everyone is talking Mitt!

Johnson spoke well, despite his lack of experience on the big stage.

*I noted the side X side shot with Paul.

First poll question: What do you consider rich? 44% $1 million +

That's the answer I would have given as well....if I could find where the polls are!

HEY! Wait a minute! Romney just took a dig at Johnson -- why doesn't Johnson get his extra time to respond??

looked right at him and sparked off "and I didn't inhale".

Certainly as regards subject matter. One debate for foreign policy - everyone answers the same question, one at a time.
One debate for economics - everyone answering the same questions.
    And so on.

Cain wants to eliminate EPA to get it right and jump start jobs.

Everyone else wants to abolish the Dept of Ed...except Perry, who only mentions charter schools.
