    Newspaper, the accelerant was a few wads of newspaper at the top of the tree. FOX is going to be fined and it's going to cry to it's viewers about anti Christmas New York.

    I still am not understanding the issue. Is it that the people at FOX are idiots and this is one more shining example of their idiocy or "there is no such thing as bad publicity" (as they say in Hollywood) or something else?

    It's been a rough couple of days for me so forgive me for being out of it right now.

    I'm having a difficult time conceptualizing this. I've never been to NY but I've heard they get obnoxiously crazy winters like we do here in Chicago. Why would anybody put up a tree made with or containing newspaper? Even without the idiotic arsonist, it surely couldn't withstand their inclement weather very long.

    If you go to a site reporting the numbers you'll find ALL the networks are down considerably including FOX 35%. FOX gives their core what it wants and it's not hard news.

    I checked out this thread to see how partisan the conversation can get concerning an apparent non-partisan story.
    It's still amazing! Do this many people actually see life in such a finite way? Of course, it doesn't help when the OP starts the absurdity.........
