    Georgi Sava Rakovski.

That's the greatest story never told.

Sava was born in 1821 in Kotel, Bulgaria, into a wealthy and patriotic family. Sava Rakovski was fluent in French, Latin, Greek, Romanian and many other languages. He received a solid education at that time, which in fact gave him many advantages securing him a calm and brilliant future career. Rakovski however, soon showed that he was not attracted by the undisturbed career of a prosperous civil servant under the Ottoman Sharia Law.

In 1841, he was sentenced to death whilst involved in revolutionary plans against the Turks, but thanks to a Greek friend, managed to escape to France. A year-and-a-half later, he returned to Kotel, only to be arrested again in 1845. Sent to Istanbul for seven years of solitary confinement, he was released in May 1848.

Sava decided to remain in Istanbul, where he worked as a lawyer. Rakovski was soon arrested once more, this time due to his creation of a secret society of Bulgarians to assist the Russians in the Crimean War. While being deported to Istanbul, he escaped, and gathered together a group of rebels. In June 1854, he was transferred to Bulgaria.

In 1854, Rakovsky led a small cheta in the Balkans, but after the failure of the Crimean War he emigrated to Wallachia, then to Novi Sad - Austria (1856). Between 1854 and 1860, Rakovski spent his time writing, publishing reviews, and avoiding arrest. He tried publishing his first newspaper "Bulgarian Journal". Because of its anti-Turkish orientation, the Austrian authorities halted the newspaper and banished Rakovski.

He penned his best-known work, Gorski Patnik (translated as A Traveller in the Woods or Forest Wanderer), while hiding from Turkish authorities near Kotel during the Crimean War (1853–56). Considered one of the first Bulgarian poems, it was not actually published until 1857. The published version differed from the first version, in that it had a clearer plot and improved style.

The plot concerns a Bulgarian man who recruits a rebel group to mutiny against the Turks. Rakosvki's aim in writing this was to awaken the people's spirit to fight for freedom and to take revenge on the Turks for their cruelty.

Rakovski left Gorski Patnik incomplete. Written in archaic language, it was difficult to read, but still had a great influence in society.

1861 saw him organizing a Bulgarian Legion in Belgrade, where he met voivode Djuro Matanović to negotiate a simultaneous rebellion in Bulgaria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Albania, and travelling through Europe recruiting support for his country’s cause. While his radical views often met opposition from more moderate minds, his writings incited youth to go against the Turks. It was in this year that he wrote his Plan for the Liberation of Bulgaria. Many young people rallied under his flag to fight the Ottomans alongside the Serbs. However the conflict between Serbia and the Ottoman empire was soon resolved and the legion was dissolved.

Rakovski moved to Bucharest where he continued his journalistic and revolutionary activities. Led by the belief that Ottoman power could be brought down only with armed action, he began organizing small groups of revolutionary fighters, called cheti.

Their aim was to instigate unrest in Bulgaria, thus motivating the population to fight the Ottomans. For the purpose of coordinating the armed resistance Rakovski and his followers founded the Bulgarian Revolutionary Central Committee - an organization which was yet to feature in the Bulgarian Liberation movement.

He led the national-liberation movement over a whole of ten years. His only goal in life was for Bulgaria to be liberated from Sharia Law. Sava ultimately leads the revolutionary movement to a victory after the April Uprising of 1876, inspiring millions of people across the Balkans, Europe, Russia.

Sadly, the physical and mental exhaustion from too much work eventually took the toll on him. He was not alive to see the end a few years later. Sava died from Tuberculosis in 1867, aged 46.

Rakovsky himself creates all plans for the liberation of Europe. His merits for the Bulgarian liberation are exceptional. With his passionate journalism and his artistic activity, with his theoretical and practical works and plans, with his authority on the encyclopedic personality he is, educated was a whole generation that continued his work.

Sava created a great legacy, being the teacher of Bulgaria's most notorious revolutionaries like Vasil "the Lion" Levski and others.

Legendary quotes by Georgi Sava Rakovski:

"The Russians have been one of the wildest wildlings and most barbaric people, and they have so far remained the same for the most part."

"The forever cursed Russia when it had a fight with Turkey, the poor, simple-minded Bulgarians were lied to that Russia is coming to the rescue to save them."

"Russia has always lied to us."

"The money that promises you and gives you now the cunning Russian Government is to deceive us. With money, Russia will tie us with chains of iron so strongly that as we become Russia's black slaves, we and our descendants will pay them with blood and with our life!"

"Let everyone scribe deeply in their hearts: freedom, or our death!"

"The Russian government, which has so far plunged our good-hearted Bulgarians with kind but cunning and false promises, is now unveiling its veil and clearly showing its murderous and malicious policy towards them."

"Oh, ungrateful sons, have you left our bones? Who will flow us and visit our graves when you leave us, like you do!"

Russia was what it was, and it remained so: mean, deceitful, greedy for foreign lands. This is a country of eternal perdition, a global septic tank for all the impurities of the world. I myself am from Russia, I know it well, what are the Russians.

G-d has an astonishing sense of humor.......
and wants to take people from a very low place.... to an astonishingly high place. The Apostle Paul was an extremely angry murderer........
    but after he was humbled....
and shown his error.... he became one of the most dedicated philosophers who ever lived.

I do not believe these people. Their religion is a gathering of demons, Babylon, the mother of the harlots and abominations of the earth. The best thing about this religion is the few denominations that are in opposition to the governments of their states. Since there is no one Church, there is not and cannot be a prophecy on a global scale.

You have no idea what the decline in the Russian communities of Christians. Everyone is seated in their sects; they are heresies. In the 90s there was a slight rise, because people were able to read the Bible. Nobody needs the Bible now, the New Testaments used as toilet paper. The whole country in a patriotic frenzy: "Our Crimea!" They hate the US and Europe, are proud of their army and believe that their army is the strongest in this world. There is no press freedom in Russia, all media are controlled by the Kremlin. And it doesn’t care much about the Russians: they are proud of Stalin, who killed millions of people, they are proud of the USSR.

Those gangsters who did everything they wanted in the 90s, today became businessmen, organized crime has teamed up with state security agencies, with deputies. Anyone who tries to resist is exposed to beatings, criminal cases are fabricated against human rights defenders. A huge mass of scientists emigrated from Russia, because educated people are well aware of how terrible the end of a country will be, where everything is steeped in lies.
And some *******s from the Christian religion say: "Peace, peace!"

There is no peace to the wicked. False prophets will also end.
