So far, so good. Both dems have a comfortable lead in the early returns, but the night is young and anything can happen. No doubt, this is a major event with far reaching effect on the body politic. How do you think it will go?

How do I think it will go? Dominion machines being used, delays and problems in republican districts, etc. New Year, same ****.

The default assumption is that the early votes are being counted first.

Hopefully, these early leads don't evaporate when the Election Day vote is counted.

It all comes down to how much of a margin that the Dems ran up (in Early Voting) vs The GOP Election Day turnout.

Hopefully, one (or both) of the races don't end up in the nightmare scenario of a Razor-Thin Margin.

2 people will win... 2 people will lose.... The only thing I think is a lock is that it won't be a split...

I see 42% in per NYT... watching this site, since the wife decided to watch Kong: Skull Island instead (WTF????)

Republicans should win, but Trump calling all Georgians frauds and cheaters for the last eight weeks may have taken a toll.

For the GOP, a Razor-Thin Margin is losing by 5 digits, it seems...

So what’ll you say if one or both republicans win? We know you’ll cry fraud if they lose, if they win is it because we forgot to steal it? Lol

In Georgia there are slightly more registered Republicans than Democrats. In November polls indicated that the two Republican candidates were slightly ahead. My hope is that Trump's phone call disgusted wavering Republicans and convinced them not to vote, and that it gave wavering Democrats the incentive to vote.

I hope you are wrong; it's bad for the country when one team has both chambers and the WH.

Interestingly, I'm seeing Warnock has received @ 7K more votes than Ossoff. (with Perdue getting the same over Katherine Ross)

Who is the Warnock/Purdue voter?? Personally, I would have thought it would have been the other way around...

I have been saying all along that I did not expect Ossov -Ossoff to win. I had said that Warlock has a slight chance.

You cannot go on the early numbers. There is only 45% of the state vote in but there less than 45% of the counties that have 100% count reported in.
The key right now is what the turnout numbers will be. Both Republican and Democratic are down in turnout.

They did count the mail in votes or more of them already so Democrats are in or almost in already.

    Exactly.

They only complain about "Dominion Machines" when they lose. Lol.

    Big deal.

The GOP had All 3 in Trump's First 2 Years.

    America will survive.

As of now, the assumption is that they are counting more heavily Dem. Votes first.

I am glad they counted the mail in votes first

dems are smart enough to know the later votes will favor republicans more, so have to wait

Trump and some of his supporters got confused about that in 2020

Your Democrats need both Ossoff and Warlock to win or the Senate stays GOP. Warlock win does you nothing for you except useless bragging rights.

That was what I was expecting too

I still think that the Republicans are winning these races though. A much larger % of the remaining votes are today's votes which will favor the Republicans

You are correct. Turnout for both parties is down.

I am surprised that Ossov is running close to Warlocks numbers. I started with Warlock due to spell check so now I cannot recall his real name. Warknock is it? ??
