Diesel is still about $5/gallon. My employer is still burning about $18,000/week in fuel. (It was $30K for a while.)
Yes. Lots of restaurants, lots of businesses, and lots of jobs. My neighbor lost his business, his life's work, his life savings, his house, and his life.
Still $5 here in liberal-land. Question: Is $3.47 good, or have we been conditioned to see it as good by comparison? infomercials use a similar method. "But wait! Theres more!"
Wait I thought there was nothing Biden could do about it because oil prices are global and the Ukraine war is still going on. Why are you thanking him what did he do to deserve it?
He isn't in the way. That is a myth pushed by (R)adicals who can't win elections on real issues. Gasoline is cheaper now than a year ago — and could fall below $3 Published Thu, Dec 8 20228:22 AM EST Gasoline has fallen to the point where the national average is now cheaper than it was a year ago, even with the war in Ukraine and OPEC+ production cutbacks. According to AAA, the price per unleaded gallon was $3.329 Thursday, below the $3.343 per gallon price a year ago. GasBuddy says there’s a good chance the price could fall below $3 nationally as soon as Christmas. ... https://www.cnbc.com/2022/12/08/gasoline-is-cheaper-now-than-a-year-ago-and-could-fall-below-3.html Ho-ho-ho!
Yes he is in the way else it would not have hit those prices in the first place and still a LONG way to go before pre-COVID prices. And predictions are for higher in 2023 already.
Nobody was driving when it was under $2. Do you really want to repeat what we were doing at that time?
You really can't think of any other reason gas and other energy prices might have been higher? Globally, I might add.
Bologna. I was, still am. So was everyone in my neighborhood. Why do you perpetrate something easily proven to be fake? Of course people were driving. You think all trucks came to a halt? All planes stopped flying? All ships stopped "steaming". Let me know when Biden gets gas and inflation down to where Trump had it.
The pipeline he didn't build. Leaks happen. Truck and boat spills happen. Pipes do not need to burn gas to transport oil last I checked. **** Biden. He went to ****ing Venezuala to solve his oil problem. Let that sink in. He went grovelling to a dictator whom we labelled as illegitmate to solve an oil problem he mostly created.
You really can't think Biden's shutting down pipelines and leasing and pledging to shutdown our oil and gas industry and lobbying the banks and capital lending to stop lending money to those industries might have been a reason they began increasing here before those global increases? So are you saying Presidents can affect the price of oil and gas now that it is coming down? If so what Biden policies are influencing the price downward?
Call a plumber. There was car accident this morning, maybe more than one, you think we should get rid of all cars too?
What’s the deal with the dip. What happened there? It amazingly when gas prices were at their lowest. I wonder why?
You've been told this a million times, Biden shut off down the oil industry here in the US and had to beg authoritarian governments to release more to make up the difference. The reason gas prices are going down is due to the global economy slowing down, especially in China. This is not a sign of good times ahead, it is a warning. Enjoy the good times while you can.
I do.... because the clown show starts on or about 1/3... And I'm not sure I can LOL enough about Biden "shutting down the oil industry in the US".... Not a one of the companies in the oil industry in the US is hurting one little bit...
Bullshit. The average price was not under $2 before Feb 2020. It was April 2020 right in the middle of shutdown. Was back up by June 2020 as we started opening back up. Evidence. https://www.eia.gov/dnav/pet/hist/LeafHandler.ashx?n=pet&s=emm_epm0_pte_nus_dpg&f=m
And OPEC countries are hurting? Taxpayers should feel good about helping out foreign countries whose oil industry is struggling?
