Obviously this has no bearing on the murder by cop that was perpetrated on Floyd but the left making a hero of this thug is also wrong.

“Floyd had moved to Minneapolis after being released from Texas prison for aggravated robbery. He was under the influence of fentanyl and methamphetamine at the time of arrest. He went to jail for atleast 5 times and a look at George Floyd’s profile as per court documents reads like a career criminal involved in drug abuse, theft, criminal trespassing, aggravated robbery as well as entering a woman’s home and pointing a gun at her stomach while looking for drugs and money”

But let's have 3 nationally broadcast memorials for him and teach our children to admire and look up to him.

    Pretty violent crime Floyd committed.

At that time, a Ford Explorer pulled up to the home and five other males exited the car and went up to the front door.

“The report states the largest of the group, who the victim later identified as Floyd, ‘forced his way inside the residence, placed a pistol against the complainant’s abdomen, and forced her into the living room area of the residence.”
“This large suspect then proceeded to search the residence while another armed suspect guarded the complainant, who was struck in the head and sides by this second armed suspect with his pistol while she screamed for help.’”

If the cops who responded to his passing of counterfeit money knew who it was and got a run down of his criminal history while responding along with being told by the person he was passing bad money to that Floyd was acting (I can't remember the exact word used) irregular, then it's not surprising the cops upped their game a little with him.

Hell, he was on his way to the Presidency.

And isn't it convenient how all this info is prominently displayed on large signs hung around people's necks so police will know whose necks they have to sit on?

When I was in high school we were pulled over for cramming a bunch of us into my buddies car. As he was writing my friend the sitation I asked the cop what would happen if I ran? He said without hesitating that he would shoot me. Point is don't ever resist arrest. Your life depends on it. Instead we are now talking about dismantling police entirely. Clown world.

I apologize for Texas being soft on crime. An armed home invasion should result in a life sentence without parole, and if it was up to me, it would be the death penalty. I am big on protecting innocent law-abiding citizens, and their protection and safety take 100% precedence over a criminals' "rights."

Or they just don’t care about the “but but but he deserved to die” that y’all pull in every one of these.

He is not a choir boy but how do you justify the death sentence for attempting to pass a counterfeit $20 ?

I’m so bored with the news. There hasn’t been anything exciting since the SpaceX launch. It’s all the same lemmings on the TV spouting the same boring crap.

This guy carries himself so well and is so well spoken that I was quite surprised that he grew up so underprivileged. All-American HS team, d-back iirc, played for Arizona State. Bet it was a huge mistake to try to resist arrest on his watch.

It is very ugly to put deceased victims on trial. Why do people do that? Does it make Derek Chauvin less guilty? NO.

So the goal here is to demonize the victim to make the man who actually committed murder to look like a victim.

Yes and he's being charged with murder, rightfully so. Floyd however is being honored across the country as some sort of martyr. Do you not see the difference?

No one here or anywhere else has attempted to make the cop look like a victim. However, the nationwide honoring of Floyd is too far fetched. He was not an honorable citizen.

That's because it's not about Floyd, this movement is much bigger than him.

it's not about Floyd? How many events took place to honor him on the day of his burial? How many signs and banners listed his name? Your so called movement has only fueled many of the stereotypes about black people.
