I know you can take train to Moscow, but it won’t be high speed train. The furthest East you can go on high speed train is in Ukraine.

With regular service you can technically go all the way to Vladivostok.

Anyway, your claim that the US infrastructure is bad is just a smear. It doesn’t make sense to have high speed trains in large country like this with such low population density. And just because you saw something with a bit of rust on it doesn’t mean it cannot continue to function until it’s designated end of life. There is no need to replace a bridge because it got a bit of rust on it, or rebuild a major airport in a large metropolitan area due to pigeons bothering you.
American infrastructure works as designed and is being continuously maintained/replaced when needed.
Germans have collective OCDs and hate signs of wear and tear, but a bit of surface rust on a beam on a bridge that has another 10 years to go before it will be replaced does not shorten the life of that bridge.

I'm sure that is great for how you want to live..

How far away is the closest public trout stream?
How much public land is there to find a deer or elk on?

    What is OCD?

I think our countries have simply different approach. It was funny to see a german cruise ship next an american one...the american one had much rust at the bow and at the anchor. The german one as pristine white white with the crew constantly removing any sign of rust.

Trout means Forelle? The fish? The next stream where trouts live is the Arzbach. Its 200 meters from our house.

We have deers evrywhere around us. They live on the fields and forests around our house. Next national aprk is Hainich Forest, 15 minutes by car.

But no elks in Germany, only in Zoo. They are not native here.

    Thats my state Thüringen

There are some points in which Marx has proven to be wrong even on a more basic level as he had a historic determined world view but determinism was a point of view later to be proven wrong even in a physical mean. At his time it was a philosophical thesis. On an economic bases we see today

Marxism-Leninism is one example for what I wrote that his philosophy became a magnet for the scum of the world.
There are some points in which Marx has proven to be wrong even on a more basic level as he had a historic determined world view but determinism was a point of view later to be proven wrong even in a physical mean. At his time it was a philosophical thesis. On an economic bases we see today that he was of course unable to foresee the development. But as other philosophers, they are in their time. He predicted capital accumulation and the globalization of capitalism correctly. To follow a philosophy of the 19th century 200 years later as an ideology is completely stupid anyway.

Marxism-Leninism is one example for what I wrote that his philosophy became a magnet for the scum of the world. They were too dumb to see that they themselves with their taking over in Russia refuted Marx who predicted the first socialist take over in Great Britain.

Cultural Marxism hasn't much to do neither with the original Marxism nor with Marxism-Leninism.

Christianity and religion in general was rejected by Marx indeed. It wasn't quite the anti-White ideology Cultural Marxism made out of it. In fact Marx was a person of his time and surely was convinced rather of White supremacy than anti-White sentiment. He made racial slurs against Ferdinand Lassalle e.g.

OCD is Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. They are usually clean freaks - they can’t concentrate on anything but making sure everything around them is new, shiny and clean.
Germany is like a world capital of OCD.

Same thing could be said about cars in Europe - people there obsess over every scratch on a piece of sh!t cars while Americans drive on good cars that are as neglected as Russian tramways.

The underfunded infrastructure may take away from the standard-of-living, but not significantly.
These are quality of life issues.

The thing is, our "OCD" would have made Chernobyl impossible for example.

Building a reactor without containment, all the flaws ect. Would have been impossible here. Same in Harrisburg in USA. Here we think through such stuff.

Look at Titanic, her design would not have been approved in Germany for example.

Wow! You don't seem to know much about Marx (birth name Moses Mordachai Levy). He was convinced of Jewish supremacy along with Trotsky (born Lev Bronstein) and all the other leaders of the Russian Revolution. They despised whites and especially Christianity. "Person of his time" as if he was your run of the mill white German. Yeah right.

Listen, boy, we both know you have never read a single line of Marx/Engels, so spare me to lesson me about a topic you dont have the slightest idea of. Marx was neither a religous Jew nor did he considered Judaism in any way superior. His slurs against Black Africans, Indians on who he was clearly looking down to and his view on e.g. Russians and non-Germanic races are well known and to find in his letetrs and works.

Ha. The Communist Manifesto is a basic intro to Political Economy, a course which I'm sure you took as a post-graduate like myself.
How could you even begin to analyze the work of Marx without knowing anything of his upbringing, the circles he frequented, and the aims of those people. His theories have been proven to be catastrophic and unsound because they weren't meant to actually work, but to serve the basis for the eventual overthrow and transfer of Kapital to people like him using the proletariat as their useful idiots. It was a scam.

Ah, thats the case. Well if that is the case then you will have no difficulty to cite me now

    1. his conclusion of "Jewish Supremacy". There has been a review by him "Zur Judenfrage" which says otherwise, but you - as someone who studied Marx on university level" will now refute that all by the countless citations in which he proclaims Jewsih supremacy you can easily add now.

    2. His agreement with religous Judaism after all

    3. his resentment of White People

Dont bore me now with facts everyone knows, use your superior knowledge now you claim to have. Not only over me, but over any historian. Up tzo now it sounds more like "redneck found a conspiracy theory in the internet", but you will now simply give me the citations of all the lines in the Manifesto, in "Das Kapital" and in his letters, everyone overlooked.

    1) I never claimed to have superior knowledge, I stated my credentials of which you said I had never even read a line of Marx.
    2) If I take the time to provide specific sources will you actually acknowledge them or simply explain them away ?

Not really true, because most of them pay in and actually have rather well paying jobs in the industries.
The so called entitlements, SSI and so on, including unemployment and health insurance run rather fat surpluses.
The problem with the huge surpluses of Germany and how to invest them, besides reducing debt, is the bureaucracy, from enviromet to planning to actually getting a construction permit.
It is a very cumbersome process. Some of the infrastructure projects can take a decade, till the shovel comes out.

Most Americans forget, that the infrastructure to fly is payd by government, air ports, air control and son on, same for roads, highway and interstates. They never talk about those costs, the tax they pay for it and if it makes a profit.
Its only when it comes to high speed rail way.
They talk about the billions it cost to built them, but don't talk about the billions it cost to built a interstate, they talk about making a profit with trains, but never about a profit about the interstate, or the highway, or the local road.
I was just n Europe, Germany, France and Spain. Train stations are in the towns, easily to be reached with public transportation.I got on a train in my home town and went to Paris. Its like getting on the tram, or a buss. No security check, no checking in luggage. Second class, tourist class is like business class on a airplane, roomy, internet, you can get up, go to the restaurant have a menue and eat a very nice breakfast, dinner or lunch, you have to pay for it. First class, you have service and a great selection of dinners and drinks, while the trains hauls butt a 200 miles. In Paris I got out, my friend was there and we got in his car and drove to his place. No waiting for luggage, lost luggage and a long drive from the airport. Delivered in comfort to the center of Paris, from the center of my hometown.
That should be impossible in the US ?
    Is that a joke.

    Not always.
Judging by the quality of your cars, you obsess with the looks, but your stuff doesn’t last and is expensive to repair.

Again, you are missing the point about distances. A high speed rail between New York and LA would cost so much, the ticket will be several times more expensive and you still need to spend a very long time on the train, even high speed train, to cover such distances. In Western Europe everything is close. In the US only east coast is so densely populated.
When you build a highway, you don’t have to do much to maintain in. High speed rail would need to be maintained pretty much daily with specialized trains that check on rails and overhead contact line.

Train travel in the US pretty much went extinct since the airlines were deregulated and the cars became relatively cheap.

Sorry buddy to blow your bubble, the US infrastructure is catastrophic and way outdated, it is 1970s, from trains to roads and any kind of transportation and it includes the electrical grid.
Mind you I live here, travel a lot in the US and go frequently to Europe. The back log in the US goes into the trillions and US does not have the money.

The Idiot in Chief had this great ponsy sceam how to raise the money, remember, was part of his election program, to finance the rebuilt of the US infrastructure and bring it into the 21. century. Did not work and we have not hear a word about it, since than.

If you want to know what great infrastructure is, visit Japan or Central Europe, its an eye opener.

You are missing the point. Nobody would would travel from Moscow to Lisbon by train, even if there would be a high speed train.
Those trains service the cities in between. People use the trains, which have their final destination 1000km away to get from large town to large town. They stop for 10 minutes, unload and load passengers and than haul butt again.
The 200 miles or 400 miles trips, or even the 100 miles trips, at some point that train cover over 1000 or 2000 miles and serviced a lot of cities.
You want to go from Frankfurt straight to Lisbon, take a plane. If you want to go from Frankfurt to Paris take a train.
Our Interstate system is maintained daily. It takes a huge amount of daily care to keep it going and it cost billions and constant maintenance.
    Just the East Coast ?
You must not know the US very much. Start travelling your own country, please.

The US infrastructure is 1970s and it’s Trumps fault?
    I live here and I don’t see 1970s.

You can live you your fantasyland all you want. High speed trains were studied to death here and no one is building them because everyone figures people will continue to drive or just fly.
You are the one who seem to not understand the United States. Nobody can live here without a car, with just one exception being New York City. In Europe, higher population density permits good coverage by public transportation. Here people tend to live in suburbs where public transportation gets prohibitively expensive.
You can build a high speed train and charge more than an air fare for it and you will see no one using it because people will either drove on their own or opt for cheaper and faster airlines.
A regular train from Chicago to Minneapolis is $90 and the trip lasts 8 hours. I can f@cking fly for $50 or drive my own car for $30.
Do you think a high speed train is going to be cheaper? I bet the high speed train will cost at least $300 each way. No one will use it because it simply doesn’t make sense, no matter how much you wish it did!

Most of the US cities where one can get around without a car have experienced very high cost of living increases in recent years, and ironically are unaffordable to the people who can't afford a car.

New York City, Seattle, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Boston, etc.
Minneapolis, Chicago, and Detroit may be slightly less expensive, but there are some good reasons people don't want to live there. (Cold winters, rising crime rates, public transportation can be unsafe in Detroit, higher levels of poverty)

Very true, but some may try to argue economics of scale. That is, flying costs less because most people fly. High volume helps bring down per unit costs.

In the US, especially in northern states, everyone is in a hurry and everyone tries to get through stages of travel, as being en route, as soon as possible.
So, businesses will continue booking flights, as well as most people who have minimal luggage.
Americans have different views on travel and are not used to trains. When I was younger I used to wonder why we have such limited train service, but every time I even looked at traveling by train I always found it to be so impractical that I opted to travel by car or aircraft.
