Unfortunately NASA is lying to you in the same way the rest of government lies to you. If the average temperature were hot enough then what NASA says would be true. But there has been an average temperature change of only one single degree celsius over the past 100 years. So while warming may make droughts it hasn't because the warming has been insignificant. The meteorological record shows virtually no change in droughts or extreme wet events. Weather is about the same as usual. For every receding glacier there is an advancing one elsewhere. During he heat wave in the South last month our temperatures were normal around here. The temperature this month is well below normal. Weather is transitory.
