She gave permission when she chose to have sex knowing it could result in creating another human life.

There was no stare decisis prior to Roe v. Wade except for the multitude of state court rulings, most of which highly restricted abortion. So are you saying Roe v. Wade threw us into chaos? You are also evading the point that Dobbs said nothing about the legality of abortions. It simply rightly said abortion was none of the federal government's or the Constitution's -- hence the supreme court's business.

Pence sounds way off in the weds.

Are they inhabiting someone's body? There goes self defense.

Really? I would say that a woman choosing to terminate her pregnancy after engaging in sex blows your entire logic up.

You do know you can voluntarily give up your Rights...right? And there is such a thing as "implied consent".

Actually its not. Its a recognition that life is not fair. I base it on choice. Did the woman have a choice in getting pregnant? Yes? Then she gave consent for that human to live in her body. No? Then she did not give consent and therefore may evict. Yes, its still the killing of a human life. But sometimes the killing of a human life is acceptable when crimes happen. Hence, why we have the Death Penalty.

No law has to be 100% effective. We have laws against murder and punishment by death for doing so and guess what, people still commit murder. So unless you're going to hold all laws to the same standard, let's not criticize.

If a landlord gives you consent to live in their property they are giving you consent to live on that property and you get moved in, they cannot simply remove that consent can they? Why? Because you have Rights and they are protected. Just because the landlord initially gave consent for you to live on their property, does not mean that they can simply revoke that consent. And that is something that is trying to be fixed by the Pro-Life movement when it comes to abortions, the protection of rights.

And then you said "YOU AREN'T". Logically that would make one conclude that you are saying other people are not responsible for an individual actions. So much so that you are against other people regulating an individuals actions by law because only they are responsible for their actions, no one else.

The only one not being logical here is you. The whole point of my post to you is to show you that while people are responsible for their own actions society at large (meaning other people) can still regulate an individuals actions. That is the whole point of having a law system in place. To regulate other peoples actions, preferably in a way in which individual Rights are upheld and protected from other peoples individual actions.

TO all these people who think fetuses have rights....,.why TF do you think they have MORE rights than even YOU have????

Because if you believe that a fetus has a right to use another's body to sustain their life then YOU HAVE GIVEN THE FETUS MORE RIGHTS THAN ANYONE ELSE HAS,,,,

How convenient for you that you don't know "voluntarily" des not mean "forced".

Where ?....and consent may be withdrawn at any time...

Also: If you believe in making exceptions for rape ....that is very hypocritical...and illogical.
LOL, so the fetus is a "precious life with rights" until Anti-Choicers say it's not?? HILARIOUSLY hypocritical !

AND once AGAIN proving that Anti-Choicers simply want to punish women who had consensual sex..

 Implied insults do little to further your argument.

Look it up. Its even written into our laws. And no, consent may not be withdrawn at any time when Rights are concerned. For example: Contract laws.

Say whatever you want. At least I'm realistic and base my decisions on science, LONG acknowledged Rights, and history. What are your arguments based on? So far I've seen nothing but emotionalist arguments and insulting language from you.

That poster has just as much Right to advocate, and vote, for laws that affect other peoples actions as you do. Simple understanding of Democracy.

But the ZEF is not your body. You freely chose to have sex knowing that it could result in a pregnancy. Take responsibility for that life you created and put in your own body of your own free will. Having an abortion is not taking responsibility, its running from it.

It’s in my body. If it were in an apartment somewhere, this wouldn’t be a conversation. Pregnancy involves health risks and complications. I don’t care what you believe, I shouldn’t be required to go surgery like a c section because of your beliefs. The day you can grow a baby in your testicles, we can have a different conversation, but that day will never come.

Actually, it's a life support system and reproductive unit.. With ownership of such a magnificent miracle device comes great responsibility! Seems to me if the unit is not needed then it should be left off and great care taken to stop it from accidentally being primed ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It's generous of you to grant her that.
As the self-appointed spokesperson for a mindless, microscopic amalgam of cells, your opinion is recognized for what it is worth.
Try to understand: Most Americans don't want politicians dictating how a woman must deal with what happens in her womb unless and until viability is achieved.

Pretty sure you wouldn't even listen to a woman that is pro-life. The fact that I'm a man however is irrelevant. Just like the fact that you're a woman is irrelevant. What's relevant is human life. What's relevant is science. What's relevant is no government should be basing its laws on feelings, philosophy, or religion.

Condescending statements also do not further your argument.

My opinion doesn't matter. Facts matter. Science matters. The only one that's been spouting opinion here is you.

Argumentum ad populum fallacy. Rights are not based on majority rule. In fact, Rights are protected against majority rule in a Just Society.
