Girls in Sweden who are at risk of being taken abroad for forced marriage or female genital mutilation (FGM) have been advised to tuck a spoon into their underwear as a last-ditch method of alerting authorities to their plight. Katarina Idegard, who is in charge of tackling honour-based violence in Sweden’s second biggest city Gothenburg, said girls should hide the spoons so that they would be taken off for questioning in private room where they could raise the alarm. The spoons would trigger metal detectors as a last chance to get help, Ms Idegard said. She said: “The spoon will trigger metal detectors when you go through security checks. I just meant that it's ridiculous this is even happening. That a politician would even be talking about girls having to put spoons in their panties because their families wanting to cut out their private parts is such a widespread problem. And this is happening in Sweden, not some other distant backwards part of the globe. The contrast between extreme feminism and horrendous female mutilation only adds to the irony. It's like humorous in a dark sort of way. Just so absurdly ridiculous you almost want to laugh.
Not surprised you think female genital mutilation has a humorous side... It is happening in any country that have "people" who practice that custom...have you ever heard of "travel to another country" , immigration" ???

Anyone seeing Feminism as "extreme" has very little understanding of the dangers Women face even today. There is nothing of humor in the dangers Women face today from bad Men.
Feminism in Sweden is pretty wild though. Recently, the National Agency of Education decided that school-children (elementary up to high school) ought no longer to be referred to as "boys" and "girls" and, instead, these words are to be replaced with the gender neutral terms of "children" and "pupils". Gendering is only to be used when talking about inequalities between men and women (lolz). Lol, it may sound as if I am making this all up, but reality is really this bizarre. There loads of examples of State Feminism that are even worse than this one, but I can't recall them right now. The positive thing about this is that there can be no "grade gap" between boys and girls if boys and girls don't exist.
So they finally caught up with America and started referring to elementary school children as what they are first and foremost, children and pupils. Why would they need to designate "girl" and "boy"? ...it isn't a dating service , it's grade school.
Sounds like they're tripping over themselves trying to find new ways to advance women and create gender equality. Not all of these social doctrines are logically consistent with each other, of course.
