Thats a reference the the income gap. Has nothing to do with Socialism being the means to get there ;)

He's the biggest reason democrats lost. HRC thought he was just a sparring partner. She was a poor candidate to begin with but old Bernie pulled a fast one on her. MSM didn't help either. Just stroked her ego. Like Obama's wife said, dems. go lower. She didn't know how to duck, only how to keep going as far left as Socialist Bernie.

    I disagree.

Being as how he mentioned three socialist countries/governments it has everything to with the Comrade Bernie's socio-economic system of choice being the means of achieving the equal economic outcomes that socialists like him strive for.

Personally, I want nothing to do with the utopian fantasies that Sanders confuses with the American Dream.

PS. Good luck with your young QB in KC. I hope Mahomes pans out for the Chiefs...

Sanders american dream was economic equality. Not parity, but equality.

And yes, I hope so too. I was just glad they didn't take another DB in the first round ;)

Bernie got 13 million votes, far more than a cardboard cut out should ever get.

So you are applauding the actions of socialist Venezuela in seizing the assets of an American company.

    You really do hate America.

You think America is about outsourcing labor to the third world? How communist is that?

Seriously? It isn't communist at all. It is the epitome of capitalism to maximise profits for the shareholders by minimising the costs of production. If that means going abroad to produce, so be it.

But that is not what GM was doing here - at least not for selling cars back to the US. As I pointed out in an earlier post:
    1. this GM subsidiary was formed in 1948
    2. production at this factory was for the South American market, not the US market

You have taken the side of a socialist government against the interests of an American company.

You sound like a radical socialist America hater.

I think we should use military force to re-take the factory long enough for Ford to get their assets out of it, as best they can.

It's not like Venezuela is a real country, with a real army....

Sorry, but when you applaud the actions of a radical socialist government in seizing the assets of an American business, you ARE an America-hating radical socialist.

Your values are totally screwed up.

Please refer to rule #2 & #3 regarding personal attacks and flame baiting.

Sleep with dogs and they're gonna get fleas, don't ask me to feel bad for them. They enjoyed cheap coolie labor and laughed all the way to the bank. There are 21 countries in the Caribbean, 8 countries in Central America and 13 in South America and 1 country that would be the worst place to set up shop. I'll let you guess which one.

No, they lost the factory because Venezuela is an uncivilized Third World ****hole that riots when they don't get what they want. That's what America hating liberals are trying to import with their open border policies.

    1) Venezuela is a shithole. Always has been. Although its better than it was before Chavez.
    2) They lost the factory because of the court case. My source says so.
    3) What the US tries, is to make a coup through their "NGO's". The US government does nothing against it.

It will take decades for Venezuela to recover.

Q: What foreign company will ever invest in Venezuela?
    A: None.

Meh. The entire economy of Venezuela has always been floating on their oil economy as far as I know. Price dropped to rock bottom, so bye bye economy. It would have happened to any gimp in charge of that corrupt country.

The price of oil has been relatively stable. That's not the cause of Venezuela's problems. The problems were caused by socialism.

It has been relatively stable for half the price it used to be. That is the actual problem for Venezuela.

That article reads about the time Chavez was in power:
They find that neither poverty rates nor health outcomes improved more than they should have been expected to improve without the changes in policy.

    And that is blatantly untrue.
During the time Chavez was in power, people living in poverty dropped from 55% to 26%. It is appalling that the Venezuelan right wing governments of the past just let their people suffer so tremendously, while it's just rich. And it is truly amazing Chavez was able to curve it by that much. There really is no question about it. Do note: that amount of poverty of the past went with famine.
