Also in the New Testament we see verses such as "there is neither Greek nor Jews, all are equal before God" {Ephesians 2, 3} and "if ye be Christ's then ye are heirs to the Kingdom" {Galatian 3}.

Therefore, contrary to the wishes of racist right wing delusionals, there is to be no more racial or ethnic separation.

I don't know who your talking to, but I don't know of any Christians who believe that the jews were the chosen people. In fact, somewhere on this site I posted many of Jesus's quotes of where he bashed the jews for varying reasons.

All Christians agree that The OT refers to Jews. Early Church Fathers who were Anti-Semites didnt doubted that but wrote "because they refused to accept Jesus they are doomed" and "Christians are the New Choosen". That was one of the Major reasons for their persecution.

Alot of these new white evangelical christians in America think christians are the chosen ones for some bizare reason. even jw think they are the chosen ones. They tried to kid the 'jews' by stripping them of their identity in order to replace them and some twisted interpretation of scripture.

I forgot, David who ruled from JERUSALEM was Swedish. My bad. That's the whole point, every person mentioned in the old testement is Jewish, there are very few outliers, the entire old testement is about jews. there are very few Swedes, Americans, Frenchmen, Japanese, or Indians in the pages of the bible.

And the Jews quotes, at least from my reading of them are directed at Jewish leadership for not living up to the spirit of the law.

You might want to read the following link and try to comprehend everything it says about the chosen people. Who knows, you may even get to look upon these jews in a differing light.

Funny, 'cause I read the actual bible. I don't need cliff's notes.

Now, first off, the nation of Israel as you call it was ALWAYS a mixed multitude, going all the way back to Egypt and the parting of the Red Sea, and for that matter they accepted converts, for example Ruth. If you read the book of Ruth, you'll find out that she's actually a Moabite, not Hebrew, not Israelite. What's also interesting about this is that Ruth, your forgeiner is actually an ancestor of both David and Jesus. So if racial mixing makes you not an Israelite, then both David and Jesus are disqualified for not being a pure-blooded Israelite. They were partially Moabite. What made her a part of Israel at the time was that she for want of a better term converted. Later on you find the same thing with the Roman centurion converting, as well as an Ethiopian eunuch and Timothy who was Greek not Israelite. Point being that the point of Judaism was having faith in God, not in having pure blood. there's no case in the bible of a person having the right faith and the wrong blood and being rejected for it. If you were faithful, you were Jewish, if not, you were Gentile.

Try reading the actual book rather then the interpretation of other people.

Wow, and what part of the Bible did you come up with that interpretation?

I told you -- I gave you the examples. Ruth would be the big one, a Moabite who became a Jew by faith. Also look into the biographies of Timothy, Luke, the Roman Centurion baptised by Peter, the Ethiopian Eunuch baptised by Philip.
