I don't have a political agenda. I want to protect my community from the violence seen in the news lately.

What I said was I'm sick and tired of these BLM/SJW riots. How you can call them anything but riots is beyond me. I have no problem if you want to PEACFULLY protest the election (a bit childish but I digress). It's when you start burning your own cities down because of it its when I have a problem.

Yeah but you'll be dealing with getting your partner coffee, pulling over speeders as well as going into unknown situations and don't forget the endless paperwork. Not as glamorous as stopping riots.....Still I applaud you and respect the decision you made. It takes a really special person.... You are effectively entering a 'band of brothers' where you will be assessed according to your actions in stressful situations. Everyone will want to know that they can count on you to physically cover their backs. (I'm not talking about cover ups here)

you think all you will do is beating up rioters?

No of course not. I know that I'll be doing mundane and sometimes tedious work most of the time but what motivates me to become a cop is all these riots and the way cops on general are being treated. Not that there aren't a few bad apples.

Don't hate people who aren't like you.
Don't judge others, you don't know their unique situation.

Not much I can add without knowing a few more specifics about your academy. The usual advice applies - work hard, do as you're told, don't talk back. Don't (*)(*)(*)(*) around off duty. You will be booted immediately if the slightest off duty issue appears. Be invisible when you're not working.

When you hit the road remember your FTO is the most important person in your life.

    Really, Deputy Director....

    - - - Updated - - -

I think you missed his point. IIRC, Macabee is African-American (or bi-racial). His point is that he wants to be a good police officer that helps stuff like BLM from getting a foothold in his area. After all, the best solution to stop BLM is to be a good police officer.

He later admitted he wasn't an FBI agent. Which if I'm not mistaken its a felony to impersonate an officer, much less a high ranking federal agent.

You're correct. I'm mixed but I come out black so for simplicity's sake I just say I'm black.

How can I not know what I'm talking about? The facts are simple. You claimed to be an FBI director (which by your posting habits I very much doubted that) then you later admit you aren't one. Claiming to be a federal agent when you're not is a felony. Not only that but you started this derail after accusing me of having a political agenda.

Join the military instead, cops are hated because of what the state asks them to do, and partly because of the culture.

Not pathetic at all. It just shows how unreliable of a writer you are. You have to admit, you claimed that you were deputy director of the Cincinatti Field Office of the FBI. IMHO, that makes anything you say about law enforcement to be taken with a grain of salt.

    Advice?
Trust nobody, especially your superiors who will throw you under the bus at the slightest provocation.
And yes, I do speak from bitter experience.
