They will use kids again once they are allowed entry. Mamma will have an anchor baby within nine months of entry. If I had one wish I would wish they change the 14th Amendment, and the rule that says no one who has been here less than five years is eligible for social benefits.

 

Why change the 14th when all it takes is the supreme court to say that it does not apply to illegal aliens and tourists?

Trump signs it and a democrat lawer finds a quack obama judge to get an injunction

Which eventually goes to the supreme court for a final decision

If I had read or been taught about these things in high school, I would never have leaned to the far left. I would have been a moderate (except when it comes to immigration and multiculturalism) conservative from the beginning. In US public schools, they don't teach about the Russian Revolution and the suffering and death it caused; and there's a reason for that. There wouldn't be a bunch of far left loons out there spewing fairy tales about how everything should be free, and how much more peace loving, inclusive, fair, smart, physically more attractive and just plain nice the left is.
To cop an ideology without furthering your knowledge about that ideology is what is not commonplace amongst those with high IQ's. To further you knowledge and not change your ideology when you find that this ideology is false is also not common amongst those with high IQ. There is something to the cliché, "live and learn".

The left is already talking about writing a new law about term limits for SCJ. Such poor sports. Didn't bother the left when the court was stacked with liberals. No talk about term limits

They don't need to change it, they just need a ruling on the interpretation of "subject to the jurisdiction thereof".

Yes but if the 14th interpretation is resolved, then those laws could be deemed unconstitutional, and void. You're talking about the laws made in 1952 and 2001 I think right?

 

Maybe there should be an equal number of liberals and conservatives in the supreme court; and term limits.

 

Would they need a super majority to change it? If not why didn't the repubs do it when they were in the majority.

I think its less likely to get the courts to rule unless congress creates a crisis in lib la la land by actually denying citizenship to anchor babies

If you had told me in 2015 the government would be fighting to do anything about illegal immigration and build a border wall, I would have laughed myself silly.

I think a review of a 100 year old interpretation, which had nothing to do with the current situation (ark vs wong I think), and in light of recent issues, could very well be a possibility.
