What a joke. Obviously their only play is to try and downplay the investigation because they are worried about 2018. So plant the seed in the lunatic base that no matter the outcome its either a "deep state" conspiracy or a witch hunt.

    Sad. Bigly sad.

Hey most of the .gov, all branches and from the top on down, need a good purging. Senate, House, Judiciary, all regulatory agencies. Not for those who think Trump is a ******bag, but for those who are corrupt and cannot simply do their jobs (which for the record is whatever the hell the executive branch tells them that is constitutional if its an executive regulatory agency) even if its not something they personally politically support.

The OIG will be delivering 1.2 million documents to Congress on the investigation into the FBI on January 15. Then it will be up to the DOJ to bring or not being charges or assign a special prosecutor.

This is entirely independent of Trump.

Do you really think the DOJ is more political now than under Obama?

    A THOUSAND TIMES YES.

Trump very publicly criticized the head of his DOJ, on ****ing twitter, for not investigating leaks. What did Sessions do within the next week?

Yet it was many divisions that were politicized under Obama like the IRS.

Contrary to liberal belief the DOJ and FBI are executive agencies, it is well within Trump's right to purge the whole thing if he sees fit...

It's indeed sad if this amazing organization needs to be purged after 8 years of being corrupted and politicized by the Obama administration.

It's a witch hunt and it's damaging the nation MORE. The Republican corruption is deplorable!

FBI director Christopher Wray has donated $39,000, and Deputy Attorney General Rachel Brand $36,000 to the RNC and republican party supports. Do you trust them to do their jobs? I do.

The good news is that the FBI is an Excepted Service agency. The Excepted Service allows termination of employees to maintain god order and discipline. When agencies like the FBI become partisan in National Elections people need to be fired.

Amazing what was going on under Obama, here's a video of the State Department Inspector General (Obama finally appointed an IG after Hillary left) testifying before the House Oversight Committee in which he reveals that Hillary Clinton refused an interview request related to her email investigation. They were told that all the information about her emails was on the FAQ that her campaign published.

    and Comey let her walk...

Chaffetz: Were you able to interview Hillary Clinton?

    Linick: we were not.

    Chaffetz: Why not?

Linick: Well, we asked to interview secretary Clinton. We interviewed all of the secretaries. We looked at five Secretaries of State going back to Madeleine Albright and her, through counsel, she declined to meet with us.

Chaffetz: Did she indicate a reason why she would refuse to meet with the inspector general?

Linick: Her counsel informed our staff that she had — that all of the information about the e-mail was on the FAQ she published by her campaign.

The term purge has been tainted by leftists like Stalin. Any conservative using it needs to pull their head in, fast.

I am not unsupportive of a move to replace disagreeable appointees with agreeable ones.

I agree the use of language is problematic here. I doubt anyone actually wants killings of appointees, they need to alter their language to reflect that.

The morons who now control congress couldn't read 1.2 million documents in a century. They don't even read legislation before passing it. Most of the crap they bring to a vote has been written by armies of shyster lawyers working for greedy corporations and passed on to congress along with stacks of cash by sleazy lobbyists. The OIG will just dump a bunch of documents into the lap of the imbecile Trump lackeys in congress who will go on Sean Hannity and run their mouths off while Hannity gives them all a nice reach around.
