GOP Lawmakers Cite New Allegations Of Political Bias In FBI

If the FBI has turned political, they would have destroyed the tape in question. I doubt these people involved would be that stupid, to leave evidence just laying around to nail some of them later on. And of course they can think like a criminal, since their business to to catch criminals. Got to think like a criminal in order to get the goods on them. Common sense.

Of course, the dems right now would have to act all indignant that a burocracy like the FBI should ever be questioned or could ever be supsect of being political, and crooked. As if somehow the base side of human nature simply does not exist with anyone in the FBI! For these have to be perfect human beings in order to even work at the FBI! You know, like Hoover was!

Not only can the FBI, or CIA can be corrupted, and political, but there have been times when indeed they were. Because they are imperfect human beings who make up the FBI. Especially when you get to the top tier, and are appointed by politicians. Would the FBI, ever try to protect itself? Or is everyone of them so clean and principled as to be above what other human beings are?

The bad thing, the dangerous thing, is when the FBI or CIA does become corrupted by politics. When this happens, you would see leaks, as we saw, coming out and given to faux journalists, from people who should never, ever leak, unless it is done to speak truth to power and is revealing criminality and corruption. But leaking in an attempt to take down a new president, or to castrate him so he cannot address particular issues which a 3 letter agency wants to dictate either in the self interest of a burocracy or in the political interests of a party? This looks to have indeed happened when it comes to trump. That this is banana republic behavior just as we saw with the DNC, should be totally rejected by both parties and their voters and yet one gets the feeling that this is not the case at all. In fact, when it comes to trump, there seems to be a "the end justifies the means" mentality, not only with the butt hurt democrat party, but also with many of the faux liberal democrat voters. One gets the idea, that these people would even destroy this republic, if by doing that they could take trump down. MSM certainly has this mindset. And that is self evident.

 

He's at a minimum under investigation for obstruction. It's the only reason he want to talk to Coats and Rogers.

Won't amount to much, IMO. For these hearings, that the public can watch, to get entertained has degenerated into nothing more than political theater. It is a political show, nothing more. You can see that by just listening to the partisans put on their shows. Once upon a time if you lied to one of these hearings, there were consequences. No longer the case, so they are meaningless in a serious gov't. We had heads of intel lie to congress, spy on their oversight committees, and not one head rolled, and no one lost their jobs. This would never happen if these were not pure theater. Clearly these people asking the questions could not give a rat's arse about ferreting out the truth. lol They just use their time to entertain the rubes, as the rubes think this is serious gov't at work. lol These hearings remind me of the Truman Show. Except Jim Carrey is replaced by the general public. But unlike Jim, the public never discovers the truth, that this is political theater.

 

As expected, the Trump Justice Department's Republican Special Counsel's proving to be the dedicated, conscientious, and capable model of integrity Gingrich had extolled is giving the hyper-partisans a hissy fit. If he were stumbling around like Ray Charles bing-eating peyote they would be calling on him to bow down so they could festoon him with shiny bling.
