Governor Palin in her new 4 point plan in how to deal with the future of Libya excels and exhibits true leadership that makes a good President. If you read her plan it shows that it is simple common sense cautionary approach. By reading it, she understands that if not careful, we could get bogged down in another post Iraq victory type occupation. You see, President Obama may still be dining with the elite at fancy island restaurants on Martha's Vineyard, but Sarah Palin is pondering the future of Libya and wisely pushing to wind down American involvement in that latest military entanglement.

Read her plan at this link:

    "wind down American involvement"

You mean, "stop bombing"? That's the extent of our involvement.

Isn't this plan rather late in coming? I mean, congrats ex-Governor Palin for presenting a plan- but this conflict has been going on for a few months now and the time for planning is before it ends, not after. Something which I will agree neither Bush or Obama excelled at either.

How many troops do we have in Libya? How many American lives have been lost?

Funny, Palin didn't come up with a plan to wind down our involvement in Iraq when Bush bumbled into that expensive fiasco. And he lost. At least Obama won. And it hardly cost anything.

She isn't governor of anywhere or anything. Haven't you been keeping up with events? And she's still a feckless idiot.

She misses the point of this exercise. This was another power grab by the current Fool, Bobo, the Post Turtle.

Was there permission given by Congress? Where is the legal justification for all this expense and our actions at over throwing a government by military force?

Is it now the policy of this nation to do the bidding of the Arab League and the UN? I didn't know those organizations set our foreign policy.

If this is the best she can come up with on this matter, maybe she ought stay in that bus of hers.

That courtesy is reserved for, and extended to, ex-Presidents. Not for failed ex-governors.

She had warned us about getting involved before hostilities broke out. She made a statement on it warning the Obama administration of what could happen.

This is her from March. Take a listen. It's over a minute long

She didn't fail as governor. A person who has a 80 to 90% approval rating as governor is not a failure. Her policies are still benefiting Alaskans today and with that said, please stick to the topic at hand about Governor Palins 4 point plan on Libya's future.

Yes, I think I know what she is talking about on her Facebook page.

People of Libya, be vigilant. May this opportunity be used to build a free and peaceful country.

But the path to democracy in Libya is not complete, and we must make wise choices to ensure that our national interests are protected. The internal situation does not seem stable enough for U.S. forces to operate in a purely humanitarian manner without the possibility of coming under attack. There are now mounting concerns that we will see tribal and sectarian fighting in Libya like we saw in Iraq. Let’s hope that is not the case, but it must be prepared for. This should be a source of some concern.

Gaddafi may be gone, but the fighting may not be complete. History teaches that those with the guns usually prevail when a coalition overthrows a tyrant. Troop deployment to Libya would mean placing America’s finest in a potentially hostile zone that is not in our vital national security interest.

So funny that so far in Obama's term, he'd reduced our loads in Afganistan and Iraq while capturing Al Queda (remember those guys, the ones we were supposed to be fighting the whole time) leaders left and right, including their number 1 guy Bin Laden, all the while perfectly handling the Arab Spring this year with exactly the amount of US intervention needed. Hell, Bush would have thrown Halliburton and friends another 500 billion and told them to "ride those tanks into Tripoli guys", hootin' and hollerin' all the way. Obama's interaction with Libyan rebels while keeping our country a proper part of a global coalition has been exquisite, and hopefully the Arab world (you know, the ones selling all of that oil to your favorite corporations) will remember THIS presidents standard of international behavior and diplomacy and forget the last one, and every dope running in the GOP primary right now too.

If you think you'll get a reasonable response from that one, you'll have a very long wait. The PDS is strong in him.

    I read the "plan".

It's more of a "plan about what not to do" instead of a "plan about what to do".

Anyhow, as a European, I like to tell y'all that I think it's better for the American to just leave. The EU actually has some credibility when it comes to nation-building, and toghether with countries like Turkey and entities like the Arab League and the African Union we will make sure that Libya turns out okay.

We will take your Dollars, thanks and that's all.
