What do you as well as many people here really think would happen to the USA? Worst thing is political disunity and Federal gov't starts sending troops in to prevent States from breaking away from the United States.

I don't agree with that. The impact would hit Europe first and hardest. As the largest trading economy with Europe, their problems would hurt the US economy too, however the instability of Europe and the Euro will move capital to the US, giving us a temporary lift.

    Greek Bailout...Again

Umm....not quite. The U.S. is in a much better position than Southern Europe....and probably the EU overall. Printing your own currency has its advantages.

A lot of capital has already moved out of the Euro and into the Dollar.

I suspect that once the dominoes start falling in Europe, and since we're so interconnected, the austerity processes that are already silently working in America will go into hyper-drive. Furthermore, once the OWS movement and the rest of the civilian population realize that there isn't anything that can be done about wealth inequality, as well, racked by the pains of austerity, they will hit the streets with a vengeance. We will see civil unrest to the 9th power in America, as we're seeing in Greece (though snipped and sanitized).
And from that point on, I believe it will be a play-by-play to restore 'order', though in my opinion, order will not come for some time.

    I pose a conundrum:
I am a man of meager economic standing, with no college degree to my name, and no father of great importance either, so where does my word rank to my congressman? Where should my voice be heard if it needs to be heard?

Are you planning to write a letter to your Congressman or court Elizabeth Bennett?

naturally one man's word means nothing.....but if enough people would speak out against what the government is doing then that would have a huge affect......the problem is though that most are more interested in watching star search rather than doing something to help themselves!
