False and no credible economist were predicting this recovery and BTW projections are for a 6%+ GDP for 4th quarter which will put us about where we were when COVID first hit. And Jo one expected the phenomenal job the public AND private mobilization to create vaccines and therapeutics would produce these outstanding results and deaths were predicted to be 10 fold. Biden still talks about having meetings to tell him what should be done.

Trump was a private citizen at the time and you compare that to the political coup the Obama administration tried to pull? How absurd. That the best you got?

So he's going to tear down the logistics which are already set, just listen to the manufactures, being led by a HIGHLY qualified logistics expert? And vaccinations could begin before the end of the year and hopefully Biden will admit to the great job the task force and the private sector has done and not blow it or the HUGE economic recovery we are seeing with his national shutdowns and the HUGE tax increases and HUGE regulatory increases. He blew the post 2009 recovery and so far doesn't look like he learned his economic lessons. GDP should be recovered by the end of this quarter unemployment already better than four years of 8%+ under Obama/Biden and unless these blue state governments stop that with their shutdowns and Biden with his policies 2021 is set to he a banner year.
Biden should be bowing down to Trump thanking him and his administration.

Instead, he will bow to the electorate.

Who, for the third time in a row, chose a Democrat to pick up the mess left behind by a Republican.

    True.

    Trump LOST. Period.

But, Trump will never accept the results.

Trump's next 4 years will revolve around an "I Saw Bigfoot" Conspiracy.:bored:

What mess the economy booming, the COVID crisis solved, energy self sufficient, peace in ME his new appointee to climate just a few years ago said would be impossible, the ISIS threat he and his former boss created wiped out and on and on. It's Bidens to blow and all I'm hearing from him are policies that will do exactly that.

I think this is as close as we'll ever get to a concession by Trump. It took 40 losses in court... [/QUOTE]

You are probably right about any "concession" from Trump. But it surely has been made obvious to him after four years of non-stop intrigues, sabotage, subterfuge -- climaxed with a laughably pointless attempt at 'impeach-and-remove' that 'the swamp' won after all!

Just before high noon on January 20, 2021, I expect Trump to hand the "keys" and the briefcase with the launch codes to whoever is supposed to take custody of them, and then simply leave -- probably for a flight down to Florida and another round of golf....

[IMG]. "AAH! Soon it'll be back to 'business as usual'."-- "So, where's my free stuff!"

Fortunately the man who wants to uphold the Constitution, and who loves America, will be sworn in on Jan 20. The man who is only interested in himself will be evicted from the WH the same day.

And now he is announcing he's bringing back all these failed former Obama officials back but HEY they meet the gender and race checkboxes and THAT is what is most important.

Trump is a too recent phenomenon. It's been 3 weeks that he was defeated in a presidential election. And... we're already seeing at least some Republican senators, a Republican governor, and ex-governors walking away from him. As time goes by, this will grow, and Republicans with presidential aspirations will try to undermine him behind closed doors, as much as they can. People will also progressively fear him less. Meanwhile he will be older, with more cognitive decline, and he is a fat man with an unhealthy diet who stress out and rages a lot (not a good combination). Besides, he will be facing mounting legal problems, lawsuits, and prosecution, without the shield of presidential immunity.

No, from now on, what waits Trump is decline.

See, while active, all powerful, and still very much together. he already LOST. In four years everything will be worse for him, so one shouldn't expect that he will do any better.

I mean, we've been overestimating Trump. He was only a one-term president for four years because he faced a horribly unpopular candidate in Hillary Clinton, and had the weirdest set of circumstances that allowed him to pull off a razor-thin victory in three swing states. Comey's letter, Hillary's ineptitude, the Russians, Bernie or Bust, Wikileaks, the blue collar class being disillusioned, and so on and so forth. By sheer luck, everything lined up in his favor in 2016. Then, when he tried a repeat, it didn't work. There is no reason to think that in four more years, he'd be more successful.

The dossier and the plot to first deny the election and then have him removed and her 4 year crusade to try and convince people she REALLY won. And to this day they never accepted that Bush won in 2000.

It doesn't matter what I think (or anybody else thinks) about his chances of being "successful".

All that matters is what Donald Trump thinks.

And, with his reputation as a Delusiinal Loose Cannon, anything is possible.

80 million Americans disagree, including the families of the 260,000 victims of the virus.

And the majority always end up taking their rights back.

You have the right to disagree, but you can't deny the reality.

    She has to be conflicted.

On the one hand, if she waits for all the indictments, she'll have a much better case that she's the wronged party, a poor innocent woman who was fooled by a criminal.

On the other hand, if she waits too long, Donald won't have any assets left for her to get.

Oh, I don't doubt that he will try to run. What I'm saying is that if he runs, he will lose by more than he lost in 2020.
So, there's that. He is very narcissistic. Can he stomach another loss? Just yelling fraud and rigged will get old.
His niece thinks the won't run again in 2024 because deep inside he will be too terrified of another loss.

Oh, then what do you call that horribly corrupt, bureaucratic abyss that was there before Trump arrived...?

It truly doesn't 'break my heart' to see Donald Trump go on his merry way now, but do you honestly believe that "Obama 2.0" will be any less, uh, 'swampy'?

I'm trying not to be overly judgmental or critical of Biden or his Cabinet until he (and/or they) actually do something horrible. BUT, I'm not a bit enthusiastic about the idea of Biden bringing aboard a Federal Reserve Ex-Chairman like Yellen to completely take over the Department of Treasury. The Fed has had the Treasury Department completely captive to its 'ploys and plays' since August 2007, but this forthcoming Yellen appointment is even more ominous, and signals even more danger and destabilization to the value of our currency, and, the size of our national debt versus GDP.

Surely, whatever the 'swamp' really is, the Federal Reserve System is right in the big, sh!tty middle of it!

Here's Trump predicting substantially fewer than 100,000 deaths. So yes, 250,000 deaths seems like a failure.
