An example of a decent gentleman and a responsible gun store owner. I believe, if everyone were like him, the number of mass shootings would reduce significantly.
Too bad we have no opportunity to influence the black market… Or to eliminate it for good.

Thank GOD he went to a LEGAL SOURCE. He could have bought one out of a trunk of a car or his MOTHER or another 'straw' could have bought it for him.

    Really, what is your point?

    What's yours?

Maybe you think we should put this guy out of business and ensure that nutcases go to illegal sources?

I apologize if my writing didn't give you the idea I intended it to. But I don't see the reason to be aggressive towards me.
Well, my idea consists of two parts:
The decent gentleman from the story did his job significantly well. But most likely, he is the exception, and that's a great pity.
Even if every gun store owner followed the example of the gentleman, there still would be black market. And it is our real problem, more serious than gun regulations.

Yes, every nut job wanting to kill others is going to walk in and tell the guy selling the guns that he is about to go do this. Good Grief

many of the guns used in crimes are sold by dishonest FFLs just looking to make money, society be damned.

    - - - Updated - - -

the rules for FFLs need to be much stricter.

we have folks, even in NYC, who are FFLs and sell firearms out of their grocery stores and lumber yards!!

Please ignore the antagonist that you were responding to. It puts his panties in a bunch whenever he sees something about guns that don't criminalize everyone who is pro gun.
There are many good reasons for your OP. Thank you for putting it up.

So, I guess you'd agree that universal background checks don't stop criminals?
