Haitians scramble to survive, seeking food, water and safety as gang violence chokes the capital

Just tragic! Only self-protection is possible in a terrible situation like this. Does the international community need to intervene to prevent a humanitarian disaster:

 

The only way is to answer such violence is with violence, which the international community won't accept.

 

It always amazes me the way people can survive in extreme circumstances:

 

Well, there is a sure way to convince the world to start mass protests against violence in Haiti: convince the world that the gangs robbing Haitian people are Jews, and in one say you will see huuuuuuuuge protests in major American universities and all over the world.

As soon as the first Pakistani UN soldier touches the ground of Haiti, generations of post colonial retarded Western sociologists will have the excuse that the White Man (which can be a Pakistani soldier if it serves their case) interfered into this otherwise beautiful and peaceful paradise.

As a matter of fact, on the island of Hispaniola you have the perfect exemplar to demonstrate the difference between a Shithole State and a Banana Republic to kids. Dont ask me which is which when it comes to Haiti and the Domonican Republic.

I would not go that far, because the French played a dirty game with them after their independency as a revenge for the Haitian revolution. Mainly forced them into contracts with the threat of military violence. However, if you take r.g. 1966 as a reference in which Dom Rep. and Haiti were in a very similar state and Dom Rep. organized its election you see the difference in between the typical Banana Republic and the typical Shithole State.

Mexico has heavily armed gangs killing people, but there is only 1 gun store in the whole country.

Sometimes the truth can be pretty harsh and nasty sounding.... But I would rather hear an uncomfortable truth, than comfortable lies.

Just remember that telling the truth typically won't make you many friends, but the ones that it can make you are the ones who are willing to look at reality

 

They had a lot of it and it didnt work out, it didnt work out when they were on their own, neither. They are just doomed, in the presence or the absense of White people.

 

In bad situations like this, the community should come together and defend their country from hostile gangs period but as soon as they take up weapons to defend themselves, they will be called gangs too.

We need to step back and figure out who are the good guys here? What are the objectives of each group?

 

It is a waste of time and money. Keep them in their own country until they learn to do better.

Yes, not all of them are shitholes. Haiti however definitely is one.

 

Yes and no. Haiti was a French colony, but you can talk about Haiti as such since the slaves from Africa succeeded in the revolution against their former masters and expelled all Whites but Germans and Polish people (dont ask me why, propably the revolution was mainly against the French) from the island. So technically Haiti as such had no White colonizers, but it emerged from a White colony and as I doubt a lot of Polish and German people stayed there, Haiti was propably an all out Black nation since its existence.

However the French blackmailed them after the revolution and the permanent trials to concquer the Dominican Republic, which all failed were not the best approach either. Haiti has been a shithole from start to today ever since.

 

I can't help but feel stories like this are at least a little bit indicative of the distant future of other countries like the United States.

If it could happen in places like Haiti or South Africa, why not the United States?
