    Yep KKK was created by the VERY CONServative Southern States of AmeriKKKa guys.

Byrd later renounced his membership to the organization, although his early record in Congress on race and civil rights was mixed. For example, Byrd partook in a lengthy filibuster effort against the 1964 Civil Rights Act  here  . A Democrat but conservative in values, Byrd also criticized President Bill Clinton’s decision to push for the legalization of gay marriage decades later

    In a 2006 CNN interview, Byrd expressed regret for the filibuster and called his time in the Klan the greatest mistake of his life ( here ). In 2005, Byrd commented on his past membership of the Klan in his memoir and in an interview with the Washington Post said, “I know now I was wrong. Intolerance had no place in America. I apologized a thousand times … and I don’t mind apologizing over and over again. I can’t erase what happened.” (Read more here)

    Yeah, they were called Democrats. The very same Democrats who fought to keep slavery alive, the very same Democrats that instituted Jim Crow laws, the very same Democrats that voted against equal rights.

    But we do love how the left tries to run from its own history.

    And for your hero, Byrd, he started his political life as an Exalted Cyclops in the Ku Klux Klan. In 1944, Byrd wrote the following in a letter to Senator Theodore Bilbo:

    "I shall never fight in the armed forces with a Negro by my side ... Rather I should die a thousand times and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds."

    And it was Byrd who filibustered the 1964 Civil Rights Act for 14 hours. But he apologized so for you its all good now? :roflol:

    You guys will NEVER get the huge chasm of difference between those 2 issues, no matter how many times it's explained to you...

    And nobody has a problem with legit self defense using a single shot weapon in what should normally be a place of safety...

    Did he actually lie here? Did he ever say he's never been personally responsible for needing, or paid for, an abortion?

    His answers to every question are so off-the-charts stupid, it's actually hard to tell.

    With his current stance on abortion, it's Hypocrisy 101, but I don't know if it's an actual lie... wouldn't surprise anybody however...
