so do you agree with what I said, yes or no

I claimed, that women with naturally higher testosterone has an advantage over a woman with naturally lower testosterone

your strawman does not apply to my comments, and I agree with them, so we have no dispute there

You're desperate to find something, that I can see and NO I do not agree. Some might have higher testosterone but the difference is miniscule. Does it offer them an advantage? Maybe, maybe not, but it's their natural levels for their gender and that seems to be what's confusing to you.

Pretending you're a different gender does not count.

sounds like you need to study the science then

does being male or female offer them an advantage? Maybe, maybe not - many females can kick the butts of many males

I didn't say that, I referred to normal ranges for men or women. It's as if you're trying to find a "gotcha" with wording, and failing.

Males do have advantages in strength. Their test levels are much higher than women. Not to say there isn't a man who can't get his butt kicked, but it's not common or the norm. Or are you reaching for outliers and hoping it applies?

pro athletes are not the norm

but drugs could even the playing field

should players be able to take steroids? to give them the advantage some were just born with

I am not saying there are not biological difference in males and females, I am saying there are biological differences between (males and males) and (females and females) and if that gives some an unfair advantage

yes, per your analogy, some are born with pints, some with gallons, if a pill could give them gallons, should they be denied it?

do the people born with gallons have an unfair advantage?

You missed the point. Pint = women, gallons = men. Yes, men have an advantage in many ways. That's kind of the point of the OP

"Transwomen" are biological men. They can pretend all they want off the Athletic field....but when it comes to athletics, they are men. To think otherwise is delusional.

People who advocate "transwoman" to perform athletically as a woman is showing contempt and disregard for woman. Misogyny straight up. It's plain sick to hurt women this way.

but what you replied too, did not concern men or women in particular, it said this discussion is interesting as it brings about the difference in (men vs men) and (women vs women) - and if they should be able to medicate to bring themselves to the state others were born with as that gives them an unfair advantage

if there is biological difference in the way some were born, don't they have the right to fix that via medication... such as steroids.. why do only people born with that advantage get to have it?

it actually started from girls wanting to play men's football in an area where there were no women's football, but has taken down a road where none of us wanted it to go - unintended consequences

it seems separate but equal is wanted for some sports, but the courts are designed for equality, not separate but equal

so how do we make adjustments for sports in the law is the question

I think we can adjust with commonsense. Commensense says that girls and boys compete separately. In sports transgender people are the gender at birth.

the problem is, the laws favor equal rights, thus the problem, so this is a problem congress will have to solve

these laws were to stop women and people of color from being discriminated against

Congress will need to say we as a nation do not always prefer equal rights, sometimes separate but equal is allowed

the question is, can this divided congress agree on a bipartisan bill

You are currently in a discussion on the subject. From weight lifters, cycling, wrestling, track, MMA, trans athletes are competing against females.

you are reaching and it’s sad!
Yes of course the woman with more will have an advantage
And a 6 foot 4 Amazon woman would have an advantage in basket ball over a male little person
What the hell is your point?

one can supplement with medication to fix that, that is the point, but sports ban that

Didn’t read the whole thread to see if this has been posted yet, but:
This all seems pretty reasonable to me.

Yes I am. And you mentioned the sport being forced to adapt.
    I asked who is forcing?

Trans athletes are applying force. Putting athletes in a position to forfeit or fight is a degree of force. So are the lawsuits.

So you want a link to this thread?

In addition to this discussion, lets use Transgender cyclist Rachel McKinnon as an example. If a female did not wish to compete against Rachael, what is their alternative?

How about this power lifter, JayCee Cooper. I don't know how profitable womens power lifting is, but how many lawsuits until the sport no longer exists?
