HIV positive illegal says he'll die if deported to mexico

I have no idea who you are, but I am not Mexican, and I like to think that if he were in Australia, we'd have more compassion for him.

 

The main beef I have with not deporting illegals is that the more we accommodate them, the more it's a slap in the face to legal immigrants.

We need to reform our visa system, since we clearly depend on migrant labor for a lot of our industry. However, I can't say that I support full-on amnesty -- even in a case like this.

He has probably paid sales taxes, but I doubt he's paid income taxes, and about the only way he could have would involve using someone else's SSN -- which is identity theft and/or fraud.

 

Sure and Id like a new Lear Jet for my birthday.....wish in one hand, (*)(*)(*)(*) in the other, see which fills up first.

 

All of his employers should jointly pay for his HIV treatments.

Compassion? This scum has already broken our laws by being here. I and many of my fellow citizens have little or no compassion for criminals. I guess that's not a big deal for you as you come from a nation that was borne of criminals.

This person is in need of what? Treatment of a disease he contracted only by his own actions? Why should any nation take responsibility for the actions he did of his own volition? You can have him, make the offer if your so (*)(*)(*)(*)ing benevolent.

If you wish to deport him, then you should refund him every single penny of whatever taxes he may have paid over the years.

It's easy for you to talk about compassion and all. You don't have to pay for his medical bills as he slowly dies from AIDS. WE AMERICANS DO!

 

Why shouldn't the employers who HIRED him, and made his trip and residence in the USA profitable, pay the costs!

If the guy paid no taxes, it is because the employers paid him under the table (which is illegal).

I am having a hard time presenting an argument for him to stay in America. On one hand, he's been here for a decade. On the other, he apparently didn't go for all those incentives years ago to declare yourself an illegal and get amnesty.
